"I had a 2nd layer put on about 12 years ago. It was suppose to be good for 30 years (I guessed 20) but the workmanship was lacking and it had been leaking in the valleys for a number of years. IDEAL was the last one to bid but in short time talking, I decided on them. After stripping 2 layers, they had to replace a number of plywood sheets as the old ones were disintegrating. Ideal did a Superb Job working around rainy days. They installed all new flashing, new vents and metal around all roof edges. Even the skylight needed to be replaced. "Specified with Home Advisor that I wanted "repair work" for siding. DaBella contractors were pleasant and politely avoided the hard sell when they understood my position and the scope of the work required. They advised that they don't do repair work, only replace full sides or replace siding and trim of entire house. I had this same problem with "Angi's List" and my roof repair project, Angi sent me out full blown contractors who wanted to replace the entire roof. Now Angi and Home Advisor are one the the same. I consider this as an annoying strategy on the part of Home Advisor/Angi etc... to put large contractors on at the top of the quoting list when a customer (me) is looking for repair work, only to be confronted with well seasoned sales people bound and determine to turn my small project into a multi-thousand dollar unnecessary install. Good thing I spent 16 years managing a customer service and sales team otherwise I would be broke. I give DaBella a 4 for knowing when to stop talking and Home Advisor a 1.8 for applying marketing strategy over the needs of their paying subscription customers (Me)."

"Why can we only leave a 5 star rating? Christopher and crew exceeded our expectations for our restoration project. Our project was to replace the decorative wrap on the 16 foot support columns on the entrance porch at the front of our house. The original wrap was 20 years old and parts had begun to rot. During the bid process Christopher suggested that we replace the wooden wrap with a Hardy plank type material that would last longer than wood. (the original wood wrap was painted). During the removal of the original wrap we noticed that the wrap framing was fairly lightweight, just enough to give the wrap something to be nailed to. Christopher removed the lightweight framing and installed a stronger frame. The new wrap that was installed looks considerably better and richer. The attention to detail, down to the router work on decorative panels, is impressive. Christopher was very responsive to our questions and every day they left the worksite spotlessly clean."

"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."
