"WOW! Kyle exceeded my expectations in every way. I was in a real jam with time constraints and he took charge of the situation and went up and beyond what I thought a handyman would do for me. I'm so very impressed. I'm looking forward to working with him in the near future for other projects around my house. I even told my friend who lives in my area about how excellent everything went. He is definitely a keeper in my phone book! His pricing was reasonable and his work outstanding. I'm so very happy to have finally found a pro I can trust and I can afford. What a miracle!;"

"Platinum Remodeling has completed several large remodeling projects on our house. Their design team is fantastic and attentive to every detail. The quotes they have provided for the projects have been accurate every time. They have an in-house carpentry and painting team that is excellent, and have hired quality subcontractors when needed. I highly recommend them for any project, big or small."

"Al responded quickly to my request for a bid, and worked with my need to fit this job into their busy schedule before some other non-painting work was to be done at my house. Luckily, another painting job was delayed for them and Prime Time was able to come on short notice and do the work at my house. The four person crew that did the work was organized, professional, careful and friendly. They obviously knew exactly what they were doing every step of the way. I am pleased with the result, and I would hire this company again."

"He is a jack of all traits and he is very good. He is still working for me. When we first used this house we used a lot of people but it?s pretty well rehab now but Jim?s comes at least once a month. He gets stars. If I could afford more I would let him come more than once a month. He was the person who helped us get this house in shape so charge us less and I don?t know what his going rate is.

He really is good and knows how to do a number of things which I appreciate. He was recommended by a friend and he has done work for my daughter. So he was here the whole time the house is being rehab and he brought people in. He is a handyman and not a builder. He can build things but he likes to do handyman stuff which he is good at. He put glued my grandchildren toys. He has become a friend too. "

FAQs for handyman service projects in Mound, MN

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
