"We originally bought a $1000 shower door from Lowe's, and my husband was going to install....but couldn't. Then we were going to hire a pro for $500 to get it installed, but he couldn't because the angle wasn't perfect. He recommended Shower Door King to custom build. We got a nicer door made and installed for $2255. It was so worth it. "Jaye came to look at a damaged back porch roof and a garage ceiling that had been torn apart to fix broken pipes. Jay discussed the roof at length opened up the ceiling panels to inspect the damage. He advised me to call a roofing company as the damage was extensive, but said he'd replace the damaged ceiling panels and trim afterward. Meanwhile, he completed the garage. He took out the space heater my husband had installed (a fire hazard), insulated the heck out of the area, and repaired/replaced the drywall. I really appreciate his honest and thorough assessment of the roof and the great job he did on the garage ceiling. Very nice, very professional and efficient. Look forward to him finishing the deck trim."

"The crew was on time every morning and worked at least part of every day during the period.  Length of day depended on what materials had been delivered, whether there was wet paint or spackling that had to be allowed to dry, etc.  Our contract called for the work to be done in seven weeks and it was done in six.   <br /> The final cost was very close to the original estimate and we were notified of any adjustments, plus or minus, when they occurred, so there were no surprises or sticker shock.  For example, Steve suggested changing the original plan by moving the toilet to a better location, which would open the bathroom up much more and make it noticeably larger.  It was a great idea, but there was a slight additional cost for plumbing and we were told this before the change was made and we approved it.  By the same token, an original plan to build a new closet in the adjoining room was dropped and there was a corresponding reduction in the costs.   <br /> <br /> Mickey made two or three visits to our house to scope out possible plans for the new bathroom long before work began.  He also spent an entire day with us visiting the various shops that sold the materials we needed, including counter tops, tile, and plumbing fixtures.  He also ordered cabinets and other materials to our specifications. <br /> The quality of the work was first rate and we are very happy with the new bathroom, closet and hallway.  There were some minor fixes and touch ups that were needed in the days following completion of work, and someone was here promptly each day to complete them until we were satisfied.   <br /> <br /> The crew deserves special praise for their excellent work, terrific attitude, professionalism and friendliness.  If you are going to have people working in your house for six weeks, these are the kind of guys you want doing the work.  We became friends with all of them and will have them back for more work this year.All in all, we could not be happier with Hassle Free Home Improvements and highly recommend the company."

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Andrew is fabulous to work with. He and his team took great care with our belongings and worked quickly and efficiently. We had a refrigerator that needed to be moved into the garage, and furniture in the basement that needed to be moved around, and they did whatever we asked them to do. On the return trip in July, the team specified to do our job ran into a difficult situation on the job prior to ours, and did not show up at the time designated. When we called Andrew, he was just returning into town from his vacation, but immediately came to our home with another team to ensure our job got done that evening. We do wish that other team had gotten in touch with Andrew when they realized the job they were on was running late, and that someone had contacted us. Andrew is easy to get in touch with, and very responsive. We will use his company with any moving or packing that we would need in the future."

"The install started on Friday and Finished on Saturday.  On Friday the workers removed all the flooring and stored the laminate so I could reuse it in my basement.  They did an exceptional job removing the flooring since it was not glued or staples to the subfloor.  On Friday they fully finished removing all the staples and from the extra subfloor that was installed and secured the original sub floor to remove all the squeaks from several locations.  They took care in moving appliances as needed.  Some of the new hard was partially installed on friday before they stopped work for the day.  On Sat they returned and fully installed all the the new hard wood.  They cleaned up inside and out where they were working.  There was some minor accidents but they were remedied quickly by the owner.  I am very understanding with them since it was easy fixes and accidents happen.  I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.  Ash was very responsive when contacted.  Great company to deal with.. <br />"
