He repaired something that was just absolutely falling apart, and it is nice and sturdy now. I think we had some back and forth trying to get our stuff lined up. It wasn't bad. It wasn't like I was terrible frustrated. He would call me I would call him, it would take a couple days. Nothing horrid. He was there right when he was suppose to be. I would use him again if I had something like that that I needed to be done. I did ask him about some major work like remodeling but I don't think I would use him like that.  <br /> <br /> He pays attention to detail, and does a throughout nice job. Everything was cleaned up he did a nice job with that."

""Mick did a spectacular job on our basement!!! He installed and painted wood paneling on the workshop wall and pieced repairs on our spare room floor. The flooring we bought was slightly different from the original, but you can hardly tell that it's different. We asked him to do the patch-in the same direction as the wood grain in the original flooring. This involved a lot more cutting, but it turned out great! Luckily, it was a beautiful day, so he said he didn't mind going out to our patio to cut the pieces. And it was warm enough that day that he could just leave the sliding door open and go in and out easily as he needed! "The entire process went very smoothly. Matt from Genesis was always prompt at responding to our questions. However, Marvin (the door company) took a while to finish our doors, it wasn’t Genesis’ fault. Genesis also took responsibility of a couple of errors: (1) We found out later on that the original Marvin doors we ordered do not come in custom sizes. Genesis changed the model to a higher more expensive model to accommodate the custom size without additional cost to us. (2) The hardware in one of the doors came in the different color. They immediately placed the order for the correct color and will install it at no cost to us, too. Thank you!"

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."
