"A tree fell across one of our sheds damaging the roof. I went online to find a roofer and wound up on Angie's. Nick and Nick's Roofing were one of the first to respond to me, They gave me the best estimate for the roof. Their crew did excellent work and cleaned everything up very well before they left. The new roof looks great. While their estimator was here, he asked me about gutters. He gave me a quote for gutters on two sheds. I thought that their bid was fine and okayed the work. Due to the sustained winds that had caused our original problem they were slammed with work. I told them that I was in no rush. When they got caught up, they sent a gutter crew out and just like the roofing crew, they did an excellent job fabricating and installing the gutters, cleaned everything up and were on their way to the next job. I will definitely recommend Nick and Nick's Roofing. Due to storm damage, this is the third roof that has been put on this building, and by far I think that it is the best. If I ever need another roof I will definitely be calling Nick and Nick's."

"Martin's team of roofers (12 guys) rolled in on-time, protected the grounds around my house from the project and got to work. Within a few hours they had the complete old roof removed, rotten wood replaced, the skylights re-sealed and roofing felt (or whatever it is called) on the roof. By noon, they completed the shingles and all the clean-up. Our house looked as if nothing happened that morning, the yard and our deck were clean, the driveway was nail-free. The only visible difference - our beautiful new roof! Martin Fuller even dropped by when the work was complete to assure our satisfaction. "Our 1955 Ranch-style home with 28-year old asphalt shingles was experiencing leaks in the attic with every storm. (Plus the fascia boards on the windward side were about half rotted, as were corner sections of the old wooden soffits.) Even the gutters (bent in places from falling branches) had leaks. Bluebird brought everything up to code. After removing the old shingles and applying new tar-paper, they decked the entire roof (which already had sturdy 1X6 decking) with reflective half-inch paneling -- before topping these panels with architectural-grade 4-tab shingles. (Before laying the decking they had cut off the obsolete dormer-style louvered vents, replacing them with up-to-date ridge vents.) They finished this work, plus roofing our 12 X 12 storage shed and removing their trash in a day and a half total. Bluebird then sent in their gutter crew, headed up by Elder Alvarado. New 1 X 8 fascia boards replaced the rotting 1 X 6's, backed around the entire house by straight 2 X 6 lumber nailed to the rafter ends. The fascia boards were then wrapped in aluminum that tucked up under the aluminum drip edge under the shingles. We were blown away by the results of this upgrade. Next the old wooden soffits were cut out and replaced by breathable vinyl panels. All new aluminum gutters, downspouts, and screwed-down leaf guards completed the job. (Now I can rest a ladder anywhere against this integrated structure and the gutter simply does not budge.) The gutters, fascia boards, and soffits were a huge challenge, and because of frequent thunderstorms took nearly five days, but Elder's crew immediately fixed whatever slightest complaint I had, plus cleaned up their mess at the end of each workday. At first I was hesitant to go for all new gutters, but the results speak for themselves."
