"It went extremely well for the most part. We worked with Mike, who was very responsive and helpful. We took a long time to decide on which turf, and insisted on seeing several types in place on some lawns to help us figure out which one to buy. Good thing we did! Ones we liked in a one-foot square looked so fake when seen on the actual lawn, and we wanted something that looked as real as possible. Mike went out of his way to make sure we had access to all the possibilities, and came out several times to help us with the decision process. We finally picked a turf after driving all over to see their work in place. Once we decided which one we wanted, the work was done very quickly, and it looks fabulous. They've returned to fix up a few loose ends, and will also be repairing some damage that occurred when the recent rains caused an animal statue to topple over and poke a hole in the brand new turf. We're getting tons of compliments on how everything looks, and we love it too!"

"John arrived exactly when he said he would be here.  He helped us finish covering the driveway pavers and then carefully dumped 15 cubic yards of gorilla hair mulch in our driveway.  He knew exactly how much room we needed for it and he was right.  The gorilla hair mulch was very good quality, much better than we had seen elsewhere.  We were very pleased to have found San Diego Mulch.

"He's worked for us for a number of years. He consistently cleans up and mows a steep slope we have in the back. He's also worked on a few hardscape projects. He's worked on the sprinkler system, put in a stucco retaining wall, installed a paver boundary for the grass. He also does landscape lighting! "We contacted California Smartscape to give us an estimate on redoing our front and back yards. They had been destroyed by putting a pool in and by a large tree in the front yard that damaged the hardscape. We spoke at length to Richard and Nick about our budget and our ideas for the yard.
