"Two weeks after moving into a new home, we discovered, after a heavy rain, that we had a leak in an older flat roof over a bedroom. Tom was extremely responsive and helpful, and even though they don't do roofing repairs (only full replacements), Tom sent his foreman over to patch our roof as an emergency short-term fix while we looked into options for having the old roof replaced with a TPC membrane. There have been heavy rains in the meantime, and the temporary patch has saved us from taking on more water and causing further damage to drywall and floors. We were impressed by Certified's professionalism and responsiveness, and we would have hired them to do the full roof replacement, but they had a 2-3 week backlog due to all the rainy weather, and we needed the work done sooner than that."

Our main roof is slate but the back additions are asphalt shingle. After promptly repairing holes in the pitch of our slate roof he approached us with an issue regarding our back addition. He showed us a video his men took of how it was improperly installed and that we would be having issues with the roof - if not now, then in the very near future. IT was shingle stapled into metal roof - no wood or anything which is not up to code. He gave us no pressure at all but it was clear we would be having issues with the roof. We decided to have it reinstalled and that day (it was a Friday) he brought two work teams on site to have it done that afternoon. "We first became aware of this company at a home expo. We were in need of additional insulation in our attic and were looking into a ridge vent being installed as well. During inspection, we realized we needed a roof too. We negotiated a fair price for all three requested jobs and work started about a month later. During the job, the workers mistakenly trashed our gutter helmets and some were damaged beyond repair. We discussed this with our project manager and they were ultimately replaced free of charge. During the insulation install, the workers dropped a hammer through our ceiling and left a hole. It was repaired very nicely within a couple of days and you can’t even tell it happened. The cleanup after was very thorough. I found 1 or 2 pieces of metal after, but that’s nothing compared to what I’ve seen other companies leave behind on jobs for my neighbors. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the work performed and the price paid. Aside from the somewhat pushy sales tactics on the front end, I’d highly recommend this company."
