The work began with upgrading  our electrical service  to support an additional 220 circuit.. The biggest challenge was running a new 220 line from the circuit box  on the northern wall of the basement through an outside wall on the southern side of the house.  A distance of nearly 50 feet through the rafters of a  finished basement ( i.e. no access points).  There we several challenges in running the new wire through the basement ceiling  and through a finished "under-deck" where the hot tub was being located.  Also  updated existing electrical work (lights and fan) to bring up to code. Also had to deal with  bad information provided by the homeowner (me). Hooking up the hot tub was completed in short order once the line was run to the outside.
Despite the challenges  the work was accomplished on time and within $50 of original  estimate (which was approved before the work was done).   Hot tub works great. It is wonderful.
The work was carefully planned and solutions were quickly  found for each obstacle encountered. 
It was a refreshing experience to have a home improvement contractor that exceeded expectations. Only happened once before in 30 years of being a homeowner."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Jonathan did a number of tasks for me. In addition to the list above, he solved a reception problem with my wireless TV antenna by converting an old antenna into a new pole with a rotating fixture--very creative! Everything came out great, and it's a pleasure to have lights and working locks on all doors, as well as windows that stay open when required to and lock when necessary. I had a lot of deferred maintenance! I particularly want to commend Jonathan for his promptness and responsiveness. He answered his phone instantly and returned calls quickly. (Nothing frustrates me more than trying to schedule services and waiting days for a call-back!) He scheduled my work within days and completed it on schedule. I was especially grateful that, even though one task took longer than he had probably planned on (installing a light on a stair landing), he stuck to the price we had agreed on.
