"We needed a light fixture installed on the outside of our house. This required cutting a hole in the siding on our brand new house. I had heard a lot of good things about Side Pro so I gave them a call. They exceeded all of our expectations. Their receptionist was very helpful and professional and scheduled someone to come do the work in less than one week. The installer arrived on time and cut the hole, installed the block and flashing, caulked around the edge, in about 30 minutes and it looks fantastic. "What can I say, other than.... David at Home Front is the best!! David recently completed two projects in preparation for a new exterior paint job on my home later this summer. The first project was after an exterior inspection, some window trims and door moldings needed to be replaced before painting. Upon removal, additional work would be necessary to repair some hidden damages, including some siding boards being replaced. David was very helpful explaining the issues, the resolutions, and the steps necessary to make the repairs. He made the necessary repairs promptly, professionally, and the quality of his craftsmanship was evident. Even the neighbors would stop by and comment on his quality workmanship. The second project was concerning the same issues, but on an older deck attached onto the back of the home. There were many scenarios being considered - making the necessary repairs, making the repairs and completely replacing all the wooden boards with composite, or a complete enlargement redesign and rebuild. David was very helpful explaining each scenario and the proposals to accomplish each separate task. With his guidance, the decision was made to replace and to expand the deck space. Pros: current business license, bond, and insurance on file with WA state; communicative and responsive; fair cost estimates; no unnecessary padding in his estimate of scope of work; open to negotiation and discussion throughout the job; used high-quality materials; high-quality workmanship; efficient and thorough when on-site; corrected any of his own mistakes at no cost to customer; 85% cleanup job/hauling away old/used house trim materials. Cons: took a few days longer than necessary/than originally projected/proposed due to interspersed 4-day vacations (one or two days either side of a weekend - punctuality concern); lack of diligence keeping worksite cleaned of old/used caulk, nails, and wood chips from old trim (required a little bit of cleanup from customer)"
