We had several roofing companies come by and check it out and by far T & G Roofing gave us the most comprehensive description of what needed to be done, how they were going to do it, and what it was going to cost us. Mike Cernile came to our home for the inspection, and had the quote back to us within a couple of days. He was very good at describing what was wrong with the current roof and what would be required to re-roof the home. He was the ONLY person among all the companies we talked to who described where the trucks would need to park and what damage that might cause to our yard, which my wife and I were very thankful for as there were no surprises the days the crews came to do the work. The tear-off was over in less than a day, and the roofing crew was there the very next day to start the work. The entire project was completed quickly and efficiently, with all the work being permitted and inspected. We are very satisfied with the roof we received from T & G."

"I was looking into replacing my 20+ yrs tile roof to the Tesla solar roof but after months of waiting (I pre-ordered the solar roof and it was stuck at the design phase), Tesla told me that they no longer serve my area and refunded me the money. As I was looking for an alternative, I came across GAF's solar shingles and I was very interested in them. Guardian Roofs is GAF's certified installer in SoCal area. Larry from Guardian Roofs reached out to me within a day after I filled out the "Request for a Quote" form on GAF's website. Told me about their company and we chatted about my needs for the new roof and solar system. Within the next few days, he sent me a proposal, explained every single detail to me carefully and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. He truly enjoy working with Larry because he would find out the answers for any questions he wasn't able to answer on the call and actually called me back and explained them to me thoroughly. I called/emailed six roofing companies/contractors, only four responded within the first week with a quote. The quote from Guardian Roofs was the second lowest (cheaper than Tesla's solar roof). The other three quotes were traditional solar panels and reroof using the existing tiles. I quickly decided to go Guardian Roof's quote not only it's much cheaper than Tesla's solar roof, but their panels also looked much nicer than the traditional ones. My only concern was that without the space between the rack and roof, how would the heat generated by the panels being released? I asked Larry this question and he explained to me but I didn't quite understand, so I asked the owner, Justin, the same question during the installation and he explained to me by showing me the actual products. Turned out the combination of the underlaying sheet, GAF's Timberline Shingles and the actual panels were playing a big part in handling the heat. The installation took a week to complete. I'm very pleased that the owner himself actually came out a couple of days and climbed on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. He was also there to answer all of my questions about the job. Additionally, GAF sent a technician from the San Jose headquarter to oversee the installation of the panels. Not the mention William (the lead installer from Guardian Roofs) and his crew did a great job cleaning up the area after the job was completed."

"Perhaps the most trusted way to demonstrate one’s belief in a service provider is repeat business. One year later after Colonial Roofing replaced a major section of our house’s roof, we once again hired the company to completely replace a similar size area of our roof. And the results for the second go round are exactly the same as before - Colonial Roofing completed our project on time, on budget, and with the highest level of craftsmanship. I start by mentioning that Colonial Roofing honored the original estimate for this second job, even though that estimate was given one year ago. Obviously, Carl Slater (the main guy at Colonial Roofing) could have cited numerous rising expenses if he chose to change the original estimate for the job, but he did not. Work on our roof began on the initial scheduled date. And the scheduled end date for the project was met without a hitch. It was like Carl and his crew were a roman legion working for Julius Caesar - they came, they saw, they roofed. The crew working for Carl were polite and professional. All were experienced craftsmen doing their job without being a nuisance to us or the neighbors. And this is not faint praise. The roof they were completely replacing was right above my home office. I was able to continue with my normal work routine during the entire project without missing a beat. But of course, the main reason I went with Colonial roofing was because of their stellar craftsmanship. One year later, the first roof replacement shows no signs of any leaks or any problems with the work. The effort on this second roof replacement has all the ear marks indicating the same level of craftsmanship. The bonus when dealing with perfectionists is when Carl and his crew decide to rip up and replace a part of the roof (at no extra cost) just because they wanted to make sure it would not lead to any future problems. I close with a story about a meeting that took place six months ago. My wife and I were talking to a solar power company about installing solar panels at our house. Part of the agreement with the solar company was their right of approval on whatever roofing company we chose for any future repairs. When we showed the Solar company representative the business card for Colonial Roofing, the solar guy immediately said, “I know this guy and his crew, they’re great. We can sign off on them right now.” I love Colonial Roofing. Two times we’ve gone to them for major roofing projects. Our outlay for the two projects has totaled over 20k. And there’s no way we could have spent the money any better than trusting Carl and his crew."

"I highly recommend working with 4 Season Remodeling & design. Our remodeling project included a complete kitchen remodeling, the removal of a wall, the removal and installation of new floors throughout the entire house, the replacement of the electrical rewiring, and several other upgrades to our old flip house. Jacob and his team transformed the house into a stunning modern lovely place. Our old and ancient kitchen is now so beautiful, and we love using it and spend a lot of time cooking in it! we were continually impressed by the high quality of the work they did. The remodeling project was finished on time even though we had few numbers of difficulties along the work. All the workers came to work on time and were also very polite. Each time we asked any changes, touch-ups, or adjustments Jacob returned to us right away to make sure we were pleased with the work. "Amit and his crew did a great job installing a brand new cool roof, as the 30 year-old shingles that comprised our previous roof were curling up and on their last legs. I was able to get a rebate from LADWP at the rate of 20 cents per square foot contingent on the new roof meeting the threshold for minimum reflectivity. It cost $12,570; I got this pricing by getting a competitive quote from another roofing company and then negotiating additional features against that quote like cost of some required additional shiplap wood and plywood, a reflective radiant barrier on the underside of the roof visible from inside the garage, extra thick material under the shingle tiles themselves and over the plywood, replacement of flashings, etc. Amit was very honest, responsible and reliable throughout the process. The quality of the roof work was great. However, there was debris that came down on the attic floor after the days of pounding. When we requested that he return with his crew to clean up the debris, he reported that this often happened but that he was not responsible to do any cleaning as stated in his contract. Following the work, I noticed that in the attic there were quite a few nails that were poking down through the ceiling; I told him it was dangerous to walk there due the possibility that these sharp nails could injure someone. He agreed to return and bend back those protruding nails so that they were no longer a hazard. Overall he did a superior job at a reasonable price. I would hire him again."
