"We bought an older home and had toilet backup issues just a few weeks after moving in. I called 3 "A" rated plumbers on Angie's List. Jack was very reasonably priced when compared to the other two I contacted (one of those companies wanted $370/hr on the weekend). Jack spent a 1/2 day trying to clear obstructions from the downstairs toilet -- he pulled out cotton shop towels, masking tape and other items likely left by remodelers hired by the previous owner. He also pulled tree roots out which was a bad sign. Unable to clear the blockage, he brought a crew back on Monday to trace the line using an electronic device. Since the line didn't have cleanouts, it's wasn't apparent how the line went from the house to the street. Jack brought an excavator and proceeded to take out the old line (which was packed full) and clear blockages both to the house and from the curb to the street. He installed new PVC pipe with 3 cleanouts. I'm thankful that we were able to connect to existing pipe and didn't have to tear up the new patio. Jack and his crew are a hard workers - spending 11+ hours on this job. He had given me a quote prior to doing the work and actually gave a significant discount since he didn't have to dig as deep as originally thought (4 ft. vs. 7 ft). I would trust him to do any work I have in the future and he will be the first one I call."

"The tech was at the house a bit over an hour at the house, but I thought he was efficient and knew what he was doing.  I thought the prices were pretty high...but I have not had service work done here before, so I am not sure how to compare.  Service call fee was 69 dollars, and the rest was over and above that, with the filter being all that was replaced that I know of.  Tech wanted to sell a service plan, which would have been a good idea, but it did not include the service fee...which i thought was pretty useless for the plan, as today's call would have saved me 25 bucks had I had a contract...not enough return on the fee. <br />"

"Called and Mrs. Thurman scheduled the guys to come to the house in two days as they were in the middle of a big job and our problem was a small leak, not an emergency. <br /> Two plumbers arrived. The plumbers were very courteous. I was impressed with their professionalism.  Before they ever entered the house they covered their shoes with booties so as not to track up the floor. Definite plus. <br /> They inspected the cabinet areas under the tub and found the leak.  They showed my husband and I exactly where the leak was and fixed it so that we had no more moisture issue. <br /> While they were there we asked a million questions about what the problem was and what we needed to do to make sure there was no mildew or mold growth.  They gave us 2 or 3 different suggestions of how we could prevent the growth.  We asked questions about where to get the materials to do this with and they made several suggestions.  They told us exactly what we needed to do. Very pleased! <br /> After they completed that job we asked, while they were there, if they could also take a look at a toilet that was not level and an outside drain that had a raised cap that had been broken leaving the drain exposed.  They fixed both of those issues while they were there also. <br /> So happy to have everything fixed and working properly.  <br /> We will definitely be using their services again if the need arises. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Alan came out got to work right away, unstopped the line. It took a while because my house is so old and we weren't sure which way the sewer ran. Once he figured it out, it went faster and he unstopped the line. By the way I had another plumber come out (Randy's) and the guy didn't know either which way the pipes ran but difference is Alan stayed with it, the other guy told me my line was broke - didn't run a camera or anything but was pulling out mud therefore - broken pipe. Anyway back to Mr Rooter (Shur Flow) <br /> He came back the next week, dug all around and under the pipe, replaced with new -clamped on to the old with boot like connectors - put in new clean out- ran into a new problem here, where he had to clamp onto broke so he had to get a new part and replace that (added cost) he explained it all to me before it happened, said it was possible and so I was prepared for it, he put it all together, covered it all back up and smooted the dirt all out evenly and wala --- job done."

"Called company they showed up at the time they stated they would be here, actually they were early (awesome).  Installed a total of 4 ceiling fans with lights in about 2 hours time.  He was very friendly and answered all questions that I had.  Once installed he made sure everything was working great.  He left his card and said if I had any problems to please call him and he would come and check it out.  He was extremely professional and considerate of our property. <br />"
