"Have used Paschal for 5 years now for all my heating, A/C, and generator service and am very satisfied with their service, punctuality, and professionalism. My only complaint is that I see the top techs they have because I have a large generator, and then they get promoted to supervisor positions and no longer make tech house strive calls! Seriously, they are the best I have found in NWA, and always do whatever they commit to."

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"Allan discovered the drain hose was pushed too deep into wall drain opening; pulled some of the length out --- now draining properly with no backflow of water into the tub. It appears that solved our problem ---- so no parts or further repair needed. Thank, Allan !"

"The time between the first and second visits was due to the time it took for me to find the diverter for my brand of faucet. After searching all plumbing supply stores in Ft. Smith area I had to go on line to order it directly from the company that made the faucet. Once I received the part and called the plumber back, he sent 2 assistants out the next day to do the instillation. They called before coming and showed up right on time. When I explained that the toilet had been running periodically since they had last worked on it, which was something it had not done before, they were able to replace the flapper that they had installed last time with one that fit better and stopped the leaking. They even explained to me what they had done and why in a way that I could easily understand. They cleaned up the work area before they left. The only charge was for the labor. This is the 4th time we have used this company and I have been satisfied with each visit."

"I used drain masters on several occasion. Once for a water leak in the yard that another plumber wouldn't attempt to try and find to plumbing a new tub and finally to installing new water lines and drain for a new sink. Every time I have been pleased with the work. I always ask for the same plumber and he is excellent at his job. <br />"

"Robert inspected my deck and offered alternative approaches to correct sagging and warping. He explained options and estimated the cost of materials and labor for each option. We agreed on the scope of the work. He began the project on the date promised and worked continuously until the repairs were complete. The quality of workmanship was excellent. He made enhancements at no extra charge. The finished work exceeded my expectations. Robert conducts his business in a very professional manner."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Mountainburg, AR

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
