"John, Tenley, and Steve ("The Team") truly exceeded our expectations in several ways: 1. The work itself was impeccable with lots of tricky trim and paint touch up work to match existing colors and sheens throughout house. They also did some wallpaper removal and minor exterior painting of stair rails. The end results, in all cases, were seamless. 2. The Team was always cheerful and amenable to feedback and additional work which usually required additional time and effort to get done. Never any pushback...just a great attitude to get it done. Conducted a thorough walk thru on the last day to make sure nothing got missed. It was really cool to see the Owners actually do the work and not delegate the job to some crew with little oversight. Everything they said they'd do, they did. You can't ask for more. 3. The Team was always very professional and respectful in my home. Never an issue over three and half days sharing the house with them as they diligently worked the job while leaving the home neat and tidy at the conclusion of each work day. This is how you stay in business 30 years! They have a well-deserved reputation in Boise and it's easy to see why. I will have have them, and only them, back when I have additional painting needs in the future."

After writing my review on Angie's List Samantha Kay contacted me personally and apologized for the experience we had had. She sent the technician out again, at no cost to us to re-do the work. I very much appreciated Samantha's candid and sincere response to our review and the ownership she took for not delivering on the service she would expect herself. "My biggest issues: Possible mold and damage to floorboards due to cleaners, damage to furniture, major inconveniences to the household, and no follow-up on resolving issues. The first cleaning left the floor soaking wet and required us to call them out again to fix it after 4 days (pictured). This caused a musty smell, and possibly damaged the floor underneath (we will be looking into that). The second cleaning sucked up the water, but then left a heavy cleaner smell throughout the house and did not remove the cat pee smell. We paid for nothing but a week of inconvenience with loud fans, furniture moved everywhere, and multiple tries to reach out and get this resolved. I vacuumed after the second cleaning and came away with a full container of dirt and debris, so I don't believe they cleaned anything (pictured). Other service disappointments: Unprofessionalism. On the first cleaning, I was discussing charges and final instructions with the cleaner. As we're talking, he stops and looks at the box of donuts on my counter and says "Oh, Krispy Kream. Mind if I have one?" Before I even answer, and as I'm saying "Oh, actually there are only two left and my husband hasn't had any," he's opening and reaching into the box to grab a donut. I gave him a cupcake we had next to the donuts because I felt so awkward about the whole exchange. A minor issue compared to everything else, but still worth noting. I wanted to give Zerorez a chance to fix the mistakes before I left feedback/reviews, so I called multiple times. I was told that customer service couldn't do anything and that HR or the boss would call me back later that day. I received no call back that day, or the day after (today). I have had too many inconveniences and possible major expenses caused at this point. I have shared my experience with family and friends, and now will be sharing this post on all public review sites to warn people of the damage and unprofessionalism of this company. We will be examining the floor, and I will reach out to them again if we find any further damage."
