"<p>First bid was a little high, but their ad said they price match and I had a better price from competitor. Sales person Justin matched the price, including the old fence tear out. My selection was based on better Angie's List reviews between Vinyl Fence Connection and the competitor. Justin scheduled the post install date about 10 days out. They called day before and installer showed up on time to do posts. Remainder of fence installed 10 days later (delayed 2 days because of rain). Fence looks great, is sturdy, and meets expectations. A few small tree roots got in the way but were handled with no extra charge. </p> <p>Installer was contracted by Vinyl Fence Connection, not an employee. His name is Clare Lee (suncrestfencing.com). Had one assistant. Clare was very professional and friendly, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after. Used a portable gas-powered post hole digger that he wheeled in through neighbor's yard. Fit nicely through her gate and left no tracks.</p> <p>Payment was the typical one half before and remaining half when work was completed.</p> <br />"

I had saved a lot of the original deck clips invisible so that you couldn't see the screws in the deck so they felt that the technology had improved since I did the original installation. They therefore suggested a different system that they were familiar with so we went ahead and agreed with that. They were very experienced and knew just what they were doing."

"The two-man crew with their 50' cherry picker and wood chipper completed the trimming and chipping in a little over six hours. They did an excellent job of coordinating with me to trim precisely the desired limbs, and they even chipped a few extra branches that I had laying around. At my request, they left much of their wood chips, at no extra cost. My only suggestion would be that they should wear more protective gear (hardhats, ear, and eye protection). The owner provided a free itemized quote before I booked, and the price was less than 2/3 as much as the other vendor quoted me. (Note to customers: book early, because when I booked them in early August they had about a five-week backlog.)"

"I was very pleased by the entire process. I spoke with Tim mid-April and he gave me an estimate over the phone of $1000-$1200. When they came to do the work, we agreed a few boards needed replaced and the deck needed braced. It was an all day job and the workers: Nate & Dave were awesome. Later an entire crew came to stain and paint. There are a couple of spots that you could see were missed after it dried, which is why I rated the quality as a B."

"We had our downstairs door kicked in on Dec 10th and the robbers just absolutely destroyed the door, the frame and the jam. That night we tried to fix it as best we could but the whole thing was just mangled and we were left just short of a giant gaping hole in the house. (Right as a winter storm hit, naturally.) I called Yellow Van Handyman and the lady was able to squeeze me in for a quick consult with Dave the very next day. We live in an older home so naturally the door size and shape would need to be custom ordered. This of course took a few weeks for Dave to receive the door from the manufacturer it had been ordered from. It came in right around Christmas day. Dave had set an appointment to come install it Christmas Eve day (Seriously how nice is that?) but due to a family issue had to re-schedule for January. He was out yesterday promptly on time and was done really quickly even though he had to move the door over and re-set and shim the whole frame and jam. The door fits so snugly now, the weather stripping and threshold are way better than even before it got kicked in! I bet I will even see a few bucks off my energy bills because the old door never did fit in there well and left big gaps. Thanks for everything Dave! <br />"
