"Review Update: April 27, 2024 Earlier this month, I hired Mr. Electric again to run some wiring for an electrical outlet in my garage. Ivan, the electrician who came out, explained what the job entailed and asked if I had any questions. All of my questions were answered. Ivan is an electrician with many years of experience. The work was done efficiently without delay. You can be assured that Mr. Electric has the customer's safety and satisfaction as their goal. Prior to starting the work, they perform a courtesy inspection of all your electrical outlets. Again, I am very pleased with the work performed and will be using Mr. Electric again as the need arises. Adrian from Mr Electric came out to troubleshoot a flickering light issue I was having with my porch light that was connected to a timer switch. I told him I suspected the timer was bad because sometimes it didn t turn the lights on and off as programmed. Before starting, Adrian explained what steps were necessary to troubleshoot and what the costs would be for any repair work. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining how the electrical current was supposed to flow. After testing both the can light fixture and the switch wiring, he determined that the timer itself was faulty and needed replacing. He installed the new timer I had purchased. Everything works fine. He swept up any debris and made sure his work area was clean. I am very pleased with the service I received. I am also very pleased with his professionalism and courtesy. I will definitely call on Mr. Electric again for any future electrical needs I might have."

"<p>Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.  </p> <br />"

"Hill Electric did a fantastic job. They were prompt with giving me an estimate. They are busy so it took a while to schedule the work but once scheduled they showed up on time and completed the work. I am thrilled with all the new lights. I am very pleased and if/when I need electrical work will hire Hill Electric again. To complete the work Hill needed to cut a number of holes in walls and ceilings. I was worried about getting repairs but Todd Hill, owner, reassured me that he knew a drywall guy who can repair walls and recreate existing textures. He recommended Ruben Palafox who was very responsive and did a fantastic job. (See separate review of Palafox.) Great new lights and a solid recommendation on drywall. Thank you Hill Electric."

"Roman, the owner, showed up right on time. His two man work crew was right behind him. They planned the lay-out of the lighting fixtures and got right to work. Roman gave us some expert advice on installing the remote control as opposed to a wall switch. His advice really helped us make a decision and we went with the remote control unit in the ceiling fan. The crew was very professional and helped move all of the furniture in and out of the living room. They laid down a huge drop cloth that covered the whole floor. They completed the job in a very timely manner and left our house neat and clean. We will definitely contact Roman again at Advanced Electric in Simi Valley, CA for future electrical work. P.S. his prices are more than fair."

"Keith is the guy who you want to call for any electrical needs. He worked in my budget. The work he did was fantastic. I was really pleased with the increase in light in the hallways. He gave me a few tips on changing out some switches and electrical sockets. Keith said to call him if I had any trouble. I did have trouble and called him on two different occasions and he talked me through how to wire them correctly. "The complete process was excellent, from our original contact and bid from Henry Gutierrez to the completion of the job. This was a major project which included removal of 12 large palm trees, removal of all landscape, demolition of hardscape, new hardscape, plants and trees, artificial turf, drip irrigation system, and landscape lighting. Most of the workers are employees of the company and they were always respectful and showed up every work day for the approximately 3 months it took to complete the work. There were no surprise additions to the original bid, although my wife and I added a few items which added about 8% to the original cost. One of the employees, Michael, managed much of the project and was excellent. He told us exactly what was going to be done each day, plus some input as the work progressed which we felt improved the original design. He also worked on much of the hardscape with excellent results. He is a real perfectionist . We would definitely recommend this firm and hire them again. Henry, the owner, showed up every day usually in the morning making sure the project was moving along as projected. He was a pleasure to work with."
