In fact, the final outcome will now be the first thing I show off to any guest. Travis has the kind of attention to detail that embodies the kind old school values that I thought had become extinct. He went the extra mile to ensure all aspects of the project are complete and secure for years to come. He maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process and, through that, paid attention to my style and preferences to suggest small improvements/modifications that not only meet the esthetic I hoped to achieve, but incorporated his experience and practical understanding for the most functional approach. From this he took, with my permission, the liberty to add small touches that made the final result clean, cohesive, and elevated. Plus, the level of patience and dedication to ensure that the outcome is exactly what I wanted was a welcomed surprise and made the entire process stress free. On top of that, his genuine enthusiasm for the progress and anticipation for the final product was evident and elevated my excitement for the completion even further. I truly understand what he meant when he told me at our initial planning meeting that he loves his work… and it shows! One of the most important accolades I can convey is that the level of respect and care given to my home on a daily basis was no less than outstanding. His team ensured that my entire home, not to mention my surrounding environment and neighbors were treated with the utmost respect. Every day on the job, he meticulously laid out floor protection and took measures to safeguard the home and route to the bathroom. And, every day, they applied the same care to remove these and leave no trace of construction. I mean DETAILED! They actually vacuumed the hallway of my condo building to ensure there was no footprints or debris… DAILY! And his associate was extremely friendly, polite, and respectful upon every interaction. Finally, the billing process was very easy and streamlined, and gave me a full understanding of the work I was paying for. I sincerely mean it when I say I got my money’s worth out of going with TD Home Services. I am beyond pleased with the outcome. "I strongly recommend you look for your shades or blinds elsewhere. Shade and Shutter Expo does not honor their guarantee or stand behind their product or workmanship. We were looking for room-darkening remote shades for our house, beginning with the MBRM windows. We priced a couple of other places and decided to go with them even though they were a little more expensive than our other quotes. We chose this because of the guarantee they offered during the sales pitch which I felt put them a little above the rest. We were just a little underwhelmed by the quality of the shades for the high price we paid for them. I was expecting more of a textured finish. But that aside, our real problem came after installation. To make a long story short, they measured/cut the shades too narrow. I complained several times over the next 6 months, starting on the very day they were installed. Way too much light was coming in on the sides (especially when you consider how much extra we paid for room-darkening). They said it’s because they had to cut them short because of a door handle on 1 of the 5 windows. First of all, there was still room to have allowed more fabric on that window…..and the other 4 windows had NO handle to work around, so that excuse fell short. I tried to get use to them. I called back a few months later in tears of frustration that my sleep was being interrupted at daybreak every single day. They came out and looked, then said they’d go back and talk to the boss and get back to me. I never heard from them again. So for TWO YEARS NOW, I lie there’d every morning in frustration as the sun comes through and wakes me up. I have to pull the covers up over my head, which usually makes me feel like I’m suffocating. So then I try building a “wall” of pillows on either side of my head to block the light and try to get back to sleep. I can’t begin to imagine how many hours of sleep I have lost over the past two years. I curse their name every morning of my life as I fight this battle, as well as every time I see their commercial or drive by their store. So DO NOT believe the promises during their sales pitch, or count on service-after-the-sale. We planned to have all the windows on the back side of our house done…..but I assure you it will be by someone other than them."

The cord around for example, instead of a blunt cut they gave it a finished angle trim. A company that does that, well you should see the rest of his quality work!
