"From the initial contact to the job completion, Allstar Electric gets an A+!!! Kate called to talk about my needs for repair. She was able to accommodate my tight scheduling needs and was able to get a tech out there the very next day, (A Saturday, no less) Brittney called with about a 45 minute eta for the tech. Shawn, the tech, then called me with about a 20 minute eta. Kate explained to me, on the initial call, that there wasn't a trip fee, which I appreciate. Once Shawn diagnosed the problem, he was able to fix the problem for under $300! (The first quote I received was upwards of $1,200 and there was talk of needing to rewire and cut into the drywall) He was in and out within 2 hours of arriving at my home! "Finding WB lightning rods was like winning the lottery. We moved into an old farmhouse and did not realize the original system (from 1875) was no longer grounded. I panicked, knowing that finding someone to work on lightning rods would be like finding a unicorn. I looked online and their company was the only one who popped up advertising to do this type of specialty work. My call was returned immediately. William was very patient answering all of my questions. He did not try to sell me a new system, offering to correct my historic system if that is what we preferred. It happened that he was already heading to our area of VA to do a couple other jobs nearby and he worked us into his schedule for the next week. Because of the historic tiles on my roof we needed to rent a lift. We had trouble finding one available. He took it upon himself to call around and found a rental company who had one available when we needed it. We were able to get the lift and the work was completed. We decided to have them install a single rod and tie the existing rods into the new system. There are no words to emphasize how kind and customer oriented this company is. The expertise of their family run business (generations of knowledge) has left us with great peace of mind. We highly recommend!"

"They were exemplary! I've never owned a generator and after their visit, I already feel like a pro. The price was agreed upon during the first visit when they came to see exactly what needed to be done. (This first visit was without charge because of being an Angie's List member.) AFTER the electrical work was done, they not only took the time to teach me how to safely hook up the generator and manipulate the circuit box, but we did a full run through to make sure I knew how to do everything COMFORTABLY and to make sure we knew for a fact what I can and can't run when the next hurricane arrives. (They even took the generator from the box and assembled the last few items for me.) The best part was that I did not have to ask. THEY wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable so if/when the next hurricane arrives, getting power back to my house will be done quickly and with ease. I will definitely hire them again for any electrical need. They go well above and beyond for their customers."

"Technician knew what he was doing. Work was completed quickly. Cleaned up after himself. Provided me with all warranty's and explained any issues that may occur and what to do if they did. Reviewed all work completed and physically showed me what he did which included added surge protectors to the HVAC system, full house generator, cable system and the circuit breaker panel. He also went above and beyond and removed some nasty hornet nests near his work area. Definitely will use him again."
