"I met with Paul Ali from AI Masonry, discussed my small project (remove brick walkway and pour a concrete replacement). He asked some questions, discussed what the project would entail and then quoted me a price and availability. Today he and his team delivered and I couldn’t be happier. I recommend the whole heartedly, any masonry job, small or large. They have the resources for any size"

"Pat Caldwell and his crew were terrific. The driveway is perfect. They worked well and were careful with the surrounding garden in a tight space. As an extra bonus the finish is beautiful—brushed concrete with a flat edging. Pat was on site working and supervising the excavation and construction. I would certainly use Caldwell again. <br />"

"Josh Landscaping has excellently completed 2 major projects for us in past 3 years. The first was a front-yard paver walkway with landscaping & plantings in 2014. We were so pleased with the result that when we were ready to do our backyard project we called Josh. This second one was a major backyard project with 2 patios, an outdoor fireplace, a paver walkway with steps, and landscaping & plantings. Josh was super accommodating with our plan to split this into 2 phases: one completed in 2015 and the other completed in 2016. Working with Josh and his team, we got high quality workmanship and great attention to detail. I made some tweaks to design & plantings, etc. as we worked through the projects and Josh was flexible each time. You might find a less expensive landscaper to work with, but it is doubtful you will find better quality or service. We are very happy customers and highly recommend Josh Landscaping."

"They did a spectacular job considering what they had to work with when they started. The roof is exceptional. I don't have any leaks and I don't have roof shingles blowing off in my yard or the neighbors' yard; it is wonderful. The thing that I was most impressed was that they cleaned up after they were done. These guys went out and made sure that the nails were up and everything. I was just very pleased. I have recommended them to a friend. The price included the tear off of the old roof. At some places there were three to four layers of roofing shingles thick and there was a layer of wood shakes. People had just gone over and over it. I was way beyond the village code, but I bought the house like that. It leaked and I tarred it until I got enough money to get the roof done. They also insulated over the porch for me. They did the garage roof as well. I absolutely had no complaints. I had a lot of people into my house to do work. This was the first group of people that I have had here that did what they promised and cleaned up their mess. I had no problems and no need to call them back. I got prices from several other people. They weren't the cheapest, but they were right down there. It was a fair price. They had it done when they said they would have it done."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Naples, NY

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
