On first inspection of completed work we noticed a mistake due to our mutual mis-communication (we are absentee owners which made it more difficult). "First off, let me say that Teressa in the office is fantastic. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and always answers the phone during business hours. When I called outside of business hours she returned my calls promptly. She made scheduling the work easy. <br /> I asked the owner come over and look at a couple of trees to take down and over the course of a week I ended up taking 12 down in order to clean up the yard and open up space for a pool and for the kids to play. Cranebrook came over on July 1 and went right to work at 7:45am and worked hard until almost 5pm. They don't waste any time, don't stand around and joke, smoke etc... they work hard all day. They are very efficient too. It seems like everyone knows what to do and where to be so when a piece of wood gets cut, someone picks it up and puts it in the shedder immediately. They have great equipment and can knock down lots of trees quickly and clean them up quickly as well. No one stood around at all. They all worked and knew what to do so they could get a lot done. They seemed very well trained. <br /> I was so happy at the end of the first day that I asked them to come back when they had time and wanted 5 more trees taken down and stumps ground. They were able to come the very next day and again did a tremendous job. We had 1 tree that must have been 7 feet around. It was huge, next to a fence, next to the house and in power lines, they were able to take down the tree without hitting the fence or anything else and ground the stump down so it looked like it was never there. <br /> I called around to other companies before I settled with Cranebrook and originally I picked them because of the price and because Teressa always returned calls. I'm glad I did because I don't believe anyone could do a better job than they did plus their service was excellent and they had the best prices. <br /> Don't go to anyone else. They were hardworking, polite and they always had a smile on their face, no matter how hard the work was. "The service turned out very good. The price was fair. This is our first year doing this and I have nothing to compare. The gentleman that comes here and does it is excellent. He's a very nice guy. This was the second time that they had been here. We had a contract with them. The first time they came here, we had them to do something extra and that cost was $105.51. The second time they came, the cost was $97.95; every time they come that is the price for the service. They will come six times to fertilize, one time for weed control and grub applications. For the whole year $688.66 for seven applications on what my husband agreed on with them."

"Was on time for the appointment to take measurements and get information to give an estimate. He did tell me it would take some time to get an estimate to me as they had just changed providers of the stones I wanted them to use, but it took, I feel, too long to get me the estimate, almost 2 weeks. <br /> I live on water and consequently, my lot is on a rather steep slope. My parking area is just a pull-off the road, and is built up and held in place with a retaining wall so it is even with the road. The old wall had been made of logs, and was breaking down, so it needed to be completely removed. <br /> There were some problems getting started, between some problems on my end with my bank, and un-cooperative weather, but once started, the whole thing went quite well. Denny and his guys worked quickly, and cleanly. Denny was very responsive to me whenever I had questions. The end product is very nice, and looks to be very sturdy. Everything I asked for was done. I'm very pleased. Also, when the bill came it was under the estimate price, and by a fairly substantial amount!! That made it even better! <br />"
