"It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There was an issue with it and I got a refund for it. I called them and they said they had already come when I wasn't home. They said they inspected it and I needed all this repair work. There wasn't any evidence that they had been there to inspect my roof. You would have to get up on a ladder and there was no sign they had been there. The gutters hadn't been touched. I didn't believe they had actually been there. I felt they were selling me a package that they could sell to anybody. I didn't feel like I got anything for the purchase so I got a refund for it. They didn't do what they claimed they did."

"They were pretty responsive when I called and needed the windows cleaned on my house as soon as possible because I was selling my house (they came out to do the job the week following my call).  They referred me to their special deal (clean 20 windows for $219) though I only had 16 because it was still significantly cheaper than paying their usual rate.  The only hiccup in their service came when it was time to pay.  I'd advised them when I made the reservation that I would be purchasing their Angie's List "Big Deal" so they would be getting paid in that manner - having had past issues with this, I explicitly asked if this would cause any confusion and was told no, they would put a note in my file/reservation so it wouldn't be a problem.  To make a long storyshort, I still got three or four calls asking for payment in various forms.  Other than that, very good experience and I'd definitiely use them again."
