A.J. was able to give us a quote right after his viewing of our line, and it was a lot less then we feared it would be. Afford-A-Rooter arrived on time to replace the broken line and tap, and even when they found parts of the line encased in cement, were able to dig a trench to replace the line, unlike the original plan to use 2 holes and a bursting technique, which would of saved them hours of time. Even with the extra digging and time the price remained the same. Félix and his crew were awesome, and left our yard looking exactly the same as it did before the repair. Josh was here first thing Monday morning and finished cleaning the system out, tested everything, and got everything working again. We are so thankful he responded to our home and took care of it. "An appointment was made for Daniel to come out on Tuesday afternoon, arriving sometime between 1:00 and 3:00, with a call to be made to my cell phone a half hour before his arrival. When I arrived home around noon I opened the basement door and the odor was gone. After a week of dealing with it that was quite a surprise. Daniel called right around 12:30 and said he should be there by 1:00. He arrived just a few minutes early. He was clean cut and wearing black jeans and a pressed shirt, very clean and professional appearing. He didn't smell any bad odor either but used a sniffer tool that would identify any sewer gas leaks. He was diligent and checked all the joints in the drain, sewer and vent lines. Nothing. I was prepared to have him scope the sewer line anyway just to rule out a problem, but he didn't think that was necessary. He suggested we wait instead and see if the smell comes back. If it does we can then call them to return and do further testing. Total charge for his service call? ZERO! Not even a trip charge. When was the last time a service professional made a house call for free? The entire experience from the phone call to see if they might be the right company to handle our problem to when he left our home was perfect, from start to finish. They may not have made any money from us this week, but you can bet we will call them the next time we have a plumbing or drain problem! I also sell real estate and am always looking for good partners to refer to my clients. Guess which company just moved to the top of my list? It's been a very long time since I've had a wow experience with a service company but they knocked by socks off."
