We first began building gardens in California in 1970. In 1982 we moved to Nevada County, California, where we remain today. As a small, family-owned business, our primary focus has been custom residential landscaping. However, we have done both public and commercial jobs, as well as ecological restoration and small scale agricultural and horticultural development. Long ago we determined not to grow our company beyond the point where we, as owners, could not actively participate in field work on a daily basis. This practice allows us to consistently turn out individual, well-crafted projects. Our work continues today on a local and regional basis, from Lake Tahoe to the Pacific. We have an ongoing commitment to improve our craft both technically and aesthetically.

We use 3D computer modeling to prepare drawings for our customers. Our designer helps selecting the right products, colors and styles to compliment your home. \n\nOnce designs are completed and pricing is finalized, we apply for permits as required. We introduce our Lead Carpenter before the project begins and plan with you how the daily schedule will work. We believe in communication! \n\nWe use 'dust walls' to help control the mess and do a daily sweep to keep things safe and clean. At the end of the project, our professional cleaner wipes everything down so our owner's only need to move back into their beautiful space.\n\nAfter the project is done, the designer and Andy Wright meet with the owner and walk the project to assure we have met and exceeded our clients expectations. We deliver a written warranty to our customers and are happy to take care of any issues that may pop up. It's fairly normal for a fixture, door or cabinet to require some adjustment after a few months.
