"Ken is one of the most knowledgable people I've ever met. We're new homeowners, and when we had water seeping into a room from a chimney, we weren't sure who to call. Ken was able to address the problem immediately, and he set the job out in stages. I learned a lot about our house through his explanations of how and why the problems we had were happening. And then they did a fantastic job making the repairs. He was very responsive through texts. He charges a fair price for his work. The work is completed with high quality, and he has an interest in making sure his work lasts for a long time. I would definitely recommend giving him a call. <br />"

"The work went very, very smoothly. The installers did an exceptional job with the wall. They paid very close attention to detail, ensuring the wall was absolutely level in relation to the sloped sidewalk, and cleaning up thoroughly when they were finished. We were extremely happy with the end result, and we will be using Cultured Gardens again as we move on to different areas in our yard. The only reservation we had when we got the quote was the price. Much of the total $3100 cost was for the stone material and for the installation. It was more than we wanted to pay, but it ended up being less expensive than the initial quote, and the end result was well worth it. The workmanship was of extremely high quality, and the wall substantially improved our "curb appeal.""

"Last summer I was looking to get my landscaping updated, and then to possibly setup weekly mowing. I called Carrs - they were very friendly and were able to give me a quote for mowing over the phone and it took just a few days to get the quote for the yard. They came in at a good price (I did price around) and I opted to go with them. I'm glad that I did - the guys always do a great job and are courteous. I'd highly recommend Carr's to anyone looking for landscaping and/or weekly mowing. The cost of the service below was for 4 new shrubs, all new mulching in all the mulch bed, landscaping clean up/trimming of shrubs/bushes, weed removal, etc."

"Builder supplied detailed drawings, steps to be taken, full list of supplies needed to complete the project, four-part payment schedule, pulled permits and oversaw three required inspections, smooth coordination of a variety of craftspeople, prompt and courteous professional communication throughout and follow-through that still continues today. Work and materials are insured and warrantied. The outcome is serviceable and stunning and life-enhancing for years to come."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in New Haven, IN

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
