Upon inspection, Dave said that no posts needed to be replaced. He did repairs on 3 posts & replaced the bottom trim on all 4 posts. He then repainted all the posts & fascia. I was so happy with his honesty,work & reliability (he kept all appointments, reminded me when he was coming & arrived on time) that I am contracting with him to do some other jobs around the house."

"The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again."

"I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. On top of their excellent work, they are a team of friendly and courteous workers, who also took care of a few other things that needed attention. "Because of the great reviews on Angie's list, I wanted Dennie's Resurfacing.  I paid more for the service because he came from 2 hours away.  It was worth the extra cost.  I am a shoeless house and when they came in they graciously removed their shoes and were so considerate of my home. They cleaned up after themselves and removed the old glass doors I no longer wanted. That was impressive to me! They were so kind, cordial, and respectful.  The tub looks brand new--that saved me thousands of dollars and all the mess of construction!  The only challenge was the smell (I'm a health nut) but they do "green" so I was just patient for the smell to leave (I do not have a window in that bathroom); however within 24 hours the smell was gone. They have a five year warranty...so I hope to not need them, but if I do I'll report on warranty service at that time.  I wholehearted recommend this company.
