Small jobs welcome

"Mr. Moore is highly qualified and professional. He installed a concrete patio with a brick border for me and I am extremely satisfied. I wanted a patio but I did not know exactly how I wanted it to look. Mr. Moore did a fantastic job - and because of his suggestions, I was able to decide on the style. Mr. Moore has a very positive attitude and completed the job on schedule, even though my timeline was very tight. My patio needed to be completed within two to three weeks, and he delivered as he said he would. He and his staff are honest, courteous, hard working, reliable, and do more than what is required of them. He is pleasant and will do whatever he can to make sure you are satisfied. His prices are very reasonable also. I have more work to be done at a later date, and I will be calling on Mr. Moore again. It was a pleasure doing business with him and his staff."

"Adam did a great job with all installations and repairs required of him. He was knowledgeable, professional and willing to do what ever he was asked to install or repair. Offered different options on how to do each item listed. I was very pleased with his work and wouldn't hesitate recommending Adam's work."

"He is honest, prompt, and is meticulous about what he does. He is very careful and does everything in a nice manner. He sticks with us until he has finished and I am satisfied. His prices were reasonable. He continues to do the job until he does it right. He is very responsive. He is very punctual and if he is going to be late, he calls and lets you know. He is very professional. If I have anything to be done anytime, I would rely on him. It is nice to have somebody like him to help. He is going to fix the garage door for me soon. When I met him he was doing work for another house in the neighborhood and I decided to use him since my brother-in-law- was moving in close by. He did things for him and then helped me. He has not given me a quote for that work, but he has been reasonable in everything he has done."

"TLB was prompt in responding to my call. He was out here in no time to clear out land for me, did the job well, was respectful while on our property, and left everything looking nice and clean. Couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you."

"My husband and I came home from visiting family over the holidays to a busted pipe in our basement. It was the main water line coming into the house. There was a river coming out of our garage and 3 inches of water in our basement. Not exactly what you want to come home to from being on the road for 10 days. Next day I called Pro-Worker and someone was sent right away to assess the damage. Steve was great and within 20 minutes I had a reasonable quote. Next day Steve came back with an excavator to dig up and fix the pipe. Leading up to Steve's arrival, I was kept in the loop of the estimated time of arrival. We had called other commercial names in town. One gave us a quote 4 times greater. Told us it would take half a day and a crew of men to complete. A couple of others told us they couldn't get to us until the end of the week, even though we told them we had absolutely no running water. Pro Worker/Steve came with one other guy and was done in just a couple of hours. As you can tell by the length of this post, I can't say enough great things about Pro Worker. We would definitely use them again and suggest them to anyone!"

"Brian and his team were the best. Before they began work, we requested multiple quotes for tree removal services and Brian came in the lowest of all and was also the friendliest and most professional of all of the other contractors. I asked for references and when I spoke to them, they all said Russels Tree Service were the best. They were right! Brian and his team did a fantastic job at removing the trees, leveling the land and even offered some great landscaping tips. They really went above and beyond what we expected and would be quick to hire them again or recommend them!"

"Overall it went okay, not great. I paid a lot money and I feel like I didn't get my money's worth. <br />  I was expecting mature bushes to be planted. I guess I'll have to wait and see how it all fills out the wide gaps of mulch. They didn't leave my driveway clean when they were finished. When my wife asked them to pressure wash they tried to charge us extra... Ridiculous. I called to get it corrected and it wasn't addressed. It made me upset because Brian said he would ensure pressure washing would be done after they were done. Guess not... I'm in Afghanistan and it was extra difficult to get a hold of anyone. They're website does not cite an email address. Very frustrating. <br />"

"Pro-Lawn was on time and performed a massive clearing of about 1.5 acres of land. After completing the job they made sure we were happy with the outcome and even went back over thick limbs on the ground so that they would not damage our zero turn. Polite and courteous and I’ll hire them in a heart beat and would tell anyone looking for a professional team to do work to look no further"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in New Bern, NC

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
