Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean. The price was better than the other quotes that I received and the quality seems to be excellent (the old posts were much thinner and went 2 feet into the ground, he replaced them with square posts that go 4 feet down). He originally stated that he was scheduling three weeks out but might be able to fit me in before that. He ended up doing with less than two weeks after the quote so that worked out well. He also guaranteed the work and materials for two years. Altogether it was a good experience and the fence looks great, I would definitely hire them again. One quick note on the price, while the original quote was still better than the other prices I received, the final price also included an Angie's List promotional discount."
