SG and his team provided a detailed scope of the project, diagnosed the issues once they got a look underneath, and kept us updated as to anticipated timing. SG coordinated masons, carpenters and painters. At the end of each day, his team cleaned-up the work site, coiled hoses and cords and stored ladders etc. out of sight. Very professional. Matching the cedar shingle siding of the repaired areas to the remaining areas required some trial-and-error. SG had his team repeat their work until he and we were satisfied that it was just right. Home repair and maintenance is not inexpensive. However, experienced oversight and quality workmanship always represent good value."

"We hired Rob/Better Home Improvements to replace 1/2 of the wood roof on our house. They also power washed the other half of the roof, stained the entire roof, and power washed the house. Rob and his team did an excellent job. Rob was in constant communication with us, and was at our house nearly every day for 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to oversee and check the workmanship. Rob brought us issues and made recommendations. As a result of his recommendations, we also installed leaf guards (they were installed just before a torrential rainstorm, and for the first time in years, we didn't have water pouring against our windows from our roof). We also Rob's team make some needed repairs. Rob is a pro, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Better Home Improvement. In fact, I'm considering hiring them for work on some commercial buildings."

"My experience was excellent. Jhon Pachar was the first contractor to contact me from Angie's list and was local. Came out the next morning and made the repair, and also inspected the roof for any possible future problems. He found another loose shingle and sealed it down so wind to get under it and rip it off like what happened tonthe shingles he replaced for me. Very professional, courteous and explained everything he was going to do before the repair. Highly recommend this contractor and will use again if needed in the future fir any repairs or projects."

"Our project manager, Manny, and crew supervisor, Jorge, did a great job with our roof replacement today! Manny was very communicative and helpful throughout the repair. Jorge and the crew were efficient and did a very thorough clean up when finished. Our only concerns revolve around the initial reason we scheduled a repair, which was due to a ceiling leak after a rain storm. The sales person that came out was very nice and informative. He told us that while he could not determine the source of our leak, we needed a new roof. However, in our naivete, we forgot to wait on our insurance assessor before making any decisions. Post insurance assessment, we had a hard time getting answers from either the project manager or sales manager, and just moved forward with the replacement hoping it fixed our issue. Long story short, while the level of service and overall customer service were great, we had a major repair done that may not even be related to our issue. Our roof likely could have waited for a repair. Service=excellent! I would 100% recommend, just make sure you actually need a new roof."
