"We contacted two companies that repair concrete. The only thing they wanted to do was tear out the entire porch and replace the concrete. One told us we needed to contact some type of handyman to brace up the roof because they do not do that. I contacted Handyman Connection who sent out Steve. He suggested patching the bad spot then covering the entire porch with an epoxy coating. He would use a color that complemented the rest of the house. He used Olympic Rescue It.
He explained how the Handyman Connection works. They only provide labor  and we were responsible for materials. He would go to Lowes to pick up the proper stuff. They then called us for a credit card number. 
What he suggested was exactly what I thought should be able to be done. After talking to Steve for over an hour I could tell he knew what he was doing. He carved the blue whale at the zoo which he could not figure out  why they wanted it since they do not have any whales. 
He coated the entire porch to below the soil line and ran a thick bead of sealant around where there porch connected to the house.
The color really looked good.
Steve is in high demand so you may need to wait a few weeks for him to get to you.

"Our front door had been damaged by an attempted break-in for years and was getting progressively worse. We were pretty much unable to open it some days last winter. The salesperson that came out was friendly and well-informed. He went through all of our options and we decided on both a new front door and a new sliding glass door to the patio. The front door had many options that we went through which included the style of the door, the inside and outside colors and the style of the windows on either side of the door. He provided us with a quote which we accepted and he gave us what turned out to be a very accurate timeframe of when the doors would be installed. As we waited for the doors to be installed, Bee Window kept us apprised of where we were in the process and we worked out a couple areas in which there were questions. Installation day was scheduled and the installers arrived on time. It took a few hours for both doors to be installed. Before leaving, the installer guided me through opening and locking both doors and answered any questions that I had. They did a great job cleaning up the mess, both inside and outside of the house. The only negative I had with the entire process is that I felt that the price was a bit high. But after having the doors, and especially the new front door, I am more satisfied with this purchase than any other home improvement purchase I have made over the past 20+ years. The door is fantastic -- it closes properly and keeps the sound out and has zero gaps and looks absolutely beautiful."

"The inspection was performed by two very experienced, knowledgable roofers who performed an interior kitchen inspection, an attic inspection and outside inspection of the roof. Their conclusion: (1) There was no major damage to the roof where the kitchen ceiling spots and crack were evident. In their opinion, due to the severe nature of the winter and ice build up on many roofs in the area, the spots were probably caused by ice damming (a result of severe temperature swings generating water invasion under the roof shingles during warm weather, then subsequest freezing of the water causing it to form into ice under the shingles, then more warm weather causing the ice formed under the shingles to melt and invade the under shingle roofing water shield and leak into the kitchen ceiling). Their advice: (a) Just touch up the paint and crack in the kitchen; (b) observe this same area during summer rain storms and during the next year winter, when more severe weather swings may cause a re-occurrance of the kitchen ceiling wet spots. Go from there. (2) Another area of past wet spots noticed in the attic on a vertical wall, were probably there during initial construction of the house, as no deterioration of the wall board indicated ongoing water leakage problems. (3) The EIFS was in good shape, requiring no repairs; but requiring paint for appearance only. Very honest appraisal that did not result in an invoice from the contractor. All observations were well explained to us and made sense. Of three contractors provided by our insurance company (Chubb), only this contractor responded to our calls for help. The other two with no response after 2 days were Meridian Roofing and J L Fox Contracting. This contractor responded the same evening and we worked together to set and reset appointments (I had to defer the 1st one) to get the inspection completed."

Fine. They had earlier tried a less expensive repair to save us $. It worked for awhile but eventually realized starter motor had to be replaced. I appreciated their efforts at coming up with a less expensive fix. As it turned out, it was still cheaper than going to the dealership.
