"Everyone told me that home repair companies would likely be taking only big roofing jobs after Hurricane Zeta hit New Orleans and that I might have to wait a month or longer to replace a single missing shingle that blew off during the Category 2 hurricane. While it definitely doesn’t meet the definition of a “big job,” even a single missing shingle can result in potentially significant (not to mention expensive) water damage inside the home the next time it rains. So, we called our go-to home-repair company, One Man and A Toolbox, the Monday after the hurricane. It isn’t often that I leave friends slack-jawed but that’s just what happened when I informed them that One Man and a Toolbox was sending one of their experienced workers (Henry) out to repair our roof the very next day (Tuesday). Henry not only repaired the roof shingle in question but also fixed another errant shingle he spotted while up on our roof. Total cost: $80. We are so grateful to One Man and a Toolbox for their amazing customer service and professional quality work — especially after a hurricane. This company is a class act. If it sounds like I’m a happy (and loyal) customer, you would be absolutely correct."

He arrived with a well equipped trailer furnished to conquer any job and works quickly and efficiently. No job too big or small and his rates are very reasonable. We will definitely be calling Jeff again!"

"We also resurfaced the cabinets in our kitchen. His craftsfmanship was outstanding. He was extremely conscientious, matched the color perfectly. This was done with new wood doors instead of particle board doors as well. Cost $600. <br /> We had a major leak from the water company. "I did not realize that paint can be mixed in with plaster for the final coat, so that there is no need to paint. Also, Jake and his son are so experienced and good at what they do that they had no need to do any sanding. The finished job is beautiful, with a lovely mellow matte finish. They put paper down on the floors so as not to track plaster and dust, and cleaned the work area thoroughly when done. I could not be more satisfied, and recommend this company highly."

Mr. Machi Medrzychi and his company, MLM, Inc., truly exemplify customer service excellency and set the gold standard for how contracting companies should conduct business and treat their customers/clients. I will definitely utilize the services of MLM, Inc., again and highly recommend their services to anyone considering a remodeling/renovation project! Lastly, my remodeled home looks absolutely beautiful!"

"The salesman Neil is great in the products and service that he sells. He promises to inspect the windows when they are completely installed to make sure that we were completely satisfied and that the job was done to perfection. Once we signed on the dotted line and paid him a check we never heard from him again. We had several different installers before the job was finished. They weren't prompt nor did they call to let you know they were going to be late or one time just didn't show up. They are extremely sloppy and messed up some of the trim on the outside of the house. The office staff is nice and tries to be helpful but they aren't the installers."
