"Acorn Home Improvements,Inc. did work on my elderly mother's home. The house needed new windows. The old ones were drafty and were hard to open. In addition to replacing the windows, we decided to have additional insulation installed in the attic. Both crews, one for the windows and the other for the insulation, were professional, polite, on time and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that was accommodating and completed the work as agreed upon. Mom and I found their pricing was very reasonable. Since I live out of state, I was not able to be there for the entire process so it's comforting to know that there are companies that are honest and reliable. When the project was completed mom was thrilled with her new windows and how easy they were to open and close. Further more with the proper insulation, mom found that her utility bills have decreased which is an added bonus for someone on a fixed income. Mom and I highly recommend Acorn and would definitely use them again."

At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! Because I had both fencing and decking work done, I was able to obtain a discount on the whole package, which was nice, and made Carl's the low bidder . The fence installers were very courteous and neat. They had to work around some adverse weather conditions (heavy rains), but finished the job in one day. The only issue was that the door closers on the deck did not work properly, and it took Carl's a couple weeks to get back to replace the closers. Overall, a nice job. The deck installers were very meticulous. I spent a lot of time watching them. They absolutely made sure everything was level. If it wasn't, they would rip out the boards and redo them. The finished product is outstanding. Everything was cleaned up by the installers before they left. We are very happy with both decks. There were some issues with the township inspections, but my township is known for being very particular and somewhat arbitrary. Carl's worked through all the issues."
