"I recently had changed house insurance companies and provided them with my wind mitigation report I had done when we purchased our home 2 years ago. The new company required a “4 point” report as well which I had not needed previously. Fast forward to “inspection” companies. I made an appointment with Central Inspections Agency in Sorrento, Fl to perform the 4 point inspection. Right from the first phone call, to receiving the email showing the scheduled appointment info I knew I found a very professional company. Dale showed up on time for the inspection and was very courteous, neat and informative. He explained the procedure and completed the task. He explained I will receive the completed 4 point report via email later that evening and he will send a copy to my insurance provider. A few days later my insurance agent contacted me with regard to my original wind mitigation report stating he feels like it was in error based on the re-roof date by the prior owners and suggested we have the inspection company return to reinspect if the nailing code was brought up to date when the roof was replaced. So Dale from Central Inspections Agency returned to our home and performed a new wind mitigation report which clearly showed, in fact it was updated to code. Bottom line, we are extremely happy with our new insurance agency (Peter McCumber in Leesburg, Fl) for noticing that the updated code should have been in the report 2 years prior as well as Dale from Central Inspections Agency actually performing the inspection correctly and has now saved us hundreds of dollars in insurance costs. So if your in need of insurance or any type of home inspections we highly recommend both of these companies for their prompt and professional efforts in doing the right thing for us and showing that having a “correct” inspection can save lots of money in premiums! "This is review is for the Fort Lauderdale office.While I was happy with the initial rodent trapping and proofing, I am quite unhappy with the office staff. I made an appointment for service, and no one showed up and no one called. When I called the office the day of the appointment, an office staff member told me that someone will come out by the end of that week or the next week. No one did come by Tuesday of the next week , and I did not receive a call or text. When I called back , I was told that my previous appointment was not valid, and no one will be able to come out for another three weeks. When I asked if someone could come out earlier because I had an initial earlier appointment, the young woman on the phone suggested that I use another business and would give me some recommendations for other pest removal services, which I found very rude and a very poor business practice.I also had some questions about my contract and asked to be transferred to a manager, and this young woman told me she couldn’t do that, and she couldn’t give me contact information about the manager—that it was against policy. These are very poor business practices. I don’t know if anyone will show for my appointment which is a whole month after my initial appointment and have no way to contact a manager. Also a delay in service increases the chances of the rodent problem reoccurring ."

"Called Roberson for an estimate on a full roof replacement after Hurricane Ian. Had used them 1 time previously for a leak repair, and they were diligent in finding the leak and getting it fixed. Their estimate for the replacement was competitive and fair, and I was told to expect about 2 months out due to the volume of work. Imagine my surprise to be called 6 weeks early and be told they were ready to go! My neighbors watched in amazement as the team swarmed my roof and completed all work in 1 day with clean up and debris removed. Very pleased"

"I wanted to write about our experiences with Cedrick Jones and Gold Star Adjusters. Our insurance company was planning to not pay us for major damage we sustained during a wind storm that hit our house around Feb 2020. Even though water came into the house and was inside the wall, they told us that the damages were only worth about $2K or so and that it would be a cheap fix and the amount conveniently was below our deductible threshold. Mr. Jones was able to force the insurance company to pay out more than enough money for us to hire professionals to come out and rebuild most of the interior and some of the exterior wall where the water was coming from. If it wasn't for him, we would have been on the hook for several thousands of dollars worth of repairs. Mr. Jones also took the time to look over our insurance policy to make sure that they hadn't hidden high deductibles on other items on our policy to prevent any future surprises. I wanted to let you know that Mr. Jones handled everything above and beyond the normal level of care and professionalism one would expect from an adjuster. He spent several hours at our home ensuring that any and all damages were fully accounted for and held the insurance company accountable for payment of the damage claims."
