"I called Summit Paving and Masonry on April 16, 2019, after reading the great reviews the company received on Angie's List. Jerry, the owner, answered his own phone, and agreed to come to my home and give an estimate. He came and we discussed repairing my front walkway and stoop I was so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, that by the time we finished talking over the next few days, I had contracted with him to replace the front walkway, stoop, driveway, and.rear walkway. I had the above work done with maintenance free pavers. Jerry began and finished the job when he said he would. He came on time everyday, and worked with his crew to make sure everything was done correctly and answered all of my questions. If I needed to call him for anything, he either answered his phone, or called me right back. He even helped with documentation I needed for my Town codes. The workmanship is excellent, and it was a pleasure dealing with him. I highly recommend him, and would not hesitate to use him again."

"I mostly interfaced with Anthony but did speak with John and the company receptionist. All were very pleasant, professional, and super easy to work with. Anthony was understanding, patient, and helped me decide which work should be prioritized in order to stay within my budget. The Essex & Morris work crew arrived as scheduled, did excellent work, and didn’t leave a mess afterwards. I wish I had known of them the first time I had mason work done at my home as I wouldn’t have had to settle for inferior workmanship. My apologies to E&M for not writing this review sooner. "It went very, very well. John and his crew of men came the first day (the heavy rains day) to start the work of relieving the hydro-static pressure, which was the opposite of where I thought the water was coming into the house on rainy days. I thought it was through windows and walls. I came home holding my breath to see that despite minor flooding in parts of Brooklyn and a full day of rain the basement was dry! It was exactly what was needed; waterproofing. They came back after the holidays to complete the work of laying the drain pipes outside and were patient in explaining the work to me and what I would need to do, basically nothing as it is a self-managing system. John was not on site for the second part but his crew was very communicative and it was very easy to be in touch with John about the remaining work. They are very good about laying tarp down to keep floors safe and about clean up.

"I meant to write this review a while ago and completely forgot. First, Jose is fantastic! I called, he came promptly and we talked about different stoop options. He had great, practical ideas and was not only just concerned about look but also quality. We went with a natural stone stoop with bluestone treads. Jose is a skilled craftsman and always made sure everything was done right. We still get compliments about how great the stoop looks. We will call again for our next project."
