"Very well. The purchasing process at the store was easy with many examples available to look at. We selected a special order and it took the full 6 weeks for the doors to arrive. The installer was very professional and did an excellent job. He connected the doors to existing openers and fixed a problem."

"It would be great if all contractors met the standard set by Daniel and his crew. <br /> He reponded to our initial call promptly, came out to assess the job, and provided a reasonable estimate. <br /> When we had questions, we would E-mail him and he always responded the same day. <br /> When it came time to do the work, Daniel and his crew showed up right on time.  While we had cleared the areas to be refinished, there were three large furniture pieces that I couldn't handle myself and Daniel's crew graciously carried them downstairs. <br /> Everything was properly taped off and there was hardly any dust raised in the rest of the house from the sanding. The areas needing replacement were carefully removed and replaced with wood that closely matched the original grain.  Several areas with old water damage were sanded to clarity. <br /> The red oak stain went down smoothly and resulted in a rich uniform color.  The work was done so carefully that we had hardly any touch up to do on the baseboards. <br /> Three coats of water-based poly later, we had great looking floors. <br /> As part of the job, we asked Daniel to stain and poly new banisters that we had installed at the same time.  Again, the work was done well.  Because the bainisters were not dry in time to get a poly coat, the crew came back a few days later to finish up -- and take the heavy furniture pieces back upstairs. <br /> All in all, an excellent experience and I would be happy to recommend Daniel and his crew for any floor refinishing job. <br />"

"Excellent. The Driver, Roberto was very punctual. Whenever he gave me a time of when he would be coming to either pickup the car or deliver the car, he was very punctual almost to the minute. Roberto did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. I felt my "baby" was in good hands and he was very professional and responsible about the whole thing. "Leaving our house in the hands of Chuck from Talex was, without a doubt, the best way to welcome ourselves to our new little home. Not only is Chuck knowledgable, but he is also personable, and always took care of the house as if it were his own. He is responsible, always clean and tidy, uses extra drop cloths just because, leaves each day with the house as tidy as it was when he arrived, always takes the extra time to ask if he can leave his equipment, and when he does, it is always neat and "out of the way". He takes into consideration that we have a toddler who just might want to touch everything. Furthermore, on occasion he helped us bring the mail in, helped us receive packages from UPS, and even took out the trash and came back later to retrieve the garbage can. So he is a great guy... but how is his handiwork? Phenomenal! I witnessed him with saws and tools and levels, going about his day installing windows and doors for us -- amazing artistry work, a true artist. Here is a summary of some of the touches he put to our house, and and by doing so, he made it even better. - Enlarged and replaced windows, along with new insulation - Replaced front door along with finishing all edges and insulation - Painted bedrooms, living room, basement -- all impeccably done - Remove kitchen cabinets, sink, dishwasher, countertops, then re-grouted and tiled the missing spots on the floor - Replace floor moulding/shoe moulding - Repair water damage (wall, ceiling) - Emergency valve repair -- he made time to come by the house on a day he was working elsewhere, and on the coldest of days in February. I was in a frenzied, meltdown mode, completely distraught, because we now had a new swimming wading pool on the basement floor. He stopped by to fix the leak, and also fixed the valves later on. On one of these days he also took the time to educate me on the valves and the way each one works on each of the utility units. - Removed and replaced 3 toilets - Installed light fixtures (including chandelier) - Installed Lutron Caseta smart light switches - Installed recessed lights in kitchen (so beautiful! Photo attached) - Installed motion sensor faucet - Installed mailbox including digging the hole, securing with post cement, then took extra measure to affix and seal all edges with extra screws and silicone - Installed heavy bag mount - Referred HVAC professional to install 2 smart thermostats and run c wire If you are reading this review, and still considering whether to reach out to Talex or someone else, delay no more and go for Talex! Yes, I would go to him for future house projects if you don't, because we do highly recommend him!"
