"We have a small 1-bedroom apartment in a fine prewar building in Manhattan, and our living room floor had become badly worn over the twenty years since we last had it sanded.  In September, the contractor we had hired to do plastering and painting also offered to refinish the floor, and left it so badly stained that we were afraid it might be beyond repair. Ricardo Paredes responded immediately to our call for emergency help, and his crew did a flawless job of refinishing the floor. Afterwards, we had some clean-up issues (some residual dust, though not on the floor itself), and Ricardo was very responsible in helping us deal with them. We would surely call on him again if we ever decide to refinish the floor in our little dining area or our bedroom.
