They removed the original door without making a big mess or just "banging it out" it was removed smartly to not damage anything that was supposed to remain. They then assessed what they had to work with and built up where needed to make the install of the new door as secure as possible. The new door went in smoothly and looks fantastic. Al throughout the install they would answer any question I had or my children had. They also took care to make sure the alarm wires and doorbell cam were protected from harm during the install and that they worked as expected when done. "We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. The manager, Jeremy, was very open and straightforward. The installer was also excellent. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."
