"Mike and his team are true professionals and is THE TEAM you want doing your project. Mike came to our house on a Sunday (yes, a Sunday) to discuss and perform a walk-thru on our project. Everything felt right- the conversation, the design, just everything. Mike knew exactly what pavers I wanted- he didn't even need to open the Cambridge catalog (but did anyway to make sure we were on the same page). It was like he read my mind. There was also constant communication and quick response too! The day arrives and I am so incredibly excited. The guys showed up and got right to work. By mid-afternoon, the installation was complete and they were cleaning up. It was incredible! This company and everyone that works there are honest, hardworking people that take pride in their work and treat you like you're family. I am very hesitant when it comes to hiring people to do work at my house as I've had a lot of bad luck in the past but Home Improvement and Design have proven to me that good people and companies still exist and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with them from beginning to end. "This company is absolutely great. They redid our steps, put pavers and borders on our walkway and re-stoned the front perimeter of our home. Tony and his workers are ontime, friendly, professional, respectful and neat. They are very hard workers and they take great pride in their work. "I hired them to repair the old retaining wall; however technician Dave found that the wall was not built properly. It was probably the original wall built decades ago or was rebuilt thirty years ago. He immediately reported the issue to his manager Sam who came right away to evaluate the situation. Sam determined that the entire wall needed to be rebuilt in order to secure the entire wall . We got a new quote and the project was continued. Due to the pandemic, the Cambridge block manufacturer was not able to provide enough inventory for the market. We came short of blocks while before the Labor Day weekend. Dave spent the entire holiday weekend to shop for the blocks in the state. They quickly resumed the work after they found supplier that was one and half hours away from my house. After the completion of the work, they cleaned up my backyard and even washed my driveway. We do appreciate that Dave gave up his long weekend for our project. His willingness to walk extra steps for customer should be praised."

Got a great price quote from Val on a Thursday, awarded the contract on Friday and work was performed a little over a week later. The rebuild was completed in one day and the railings were installed the following week. The work was professionally done and the new steps and railings look great.
