"What a great team at Powellâ s Seamless Gutters! They removed my old gutters/ gutter guards and replaced them with new units. From first contact, Rachida, at the home office, was very polite and courteous when scheduling to determine my needs and to provide me with an estimate. Later in the week, she and Darrell, the owner, arrived at the appointed time, explained the process, answered my question/ concerns, and heard/addressed my suggestions. I was shown the different gutters/ guard hardware. All of this resulted in two options with estimates for me to consider. Over the next three weeks, it took me working with Rachida, several iterations on the options to pend down the final configuration and estimate for my job. When I was ready for the go ahead, Rachida worked the schedule to avoid overlapping the work with my out-of-townersâ visit. When the work began, Darrell was personally involved every step of the way and performed as a team member with his two crewmen â Ryan and KG. They were all very professional and attentive to details. I appreciated how careful they were with everything - including a detail cleanup. They exceeded my expectations and made sure that the job was done correctly. "5 Stars! It's not easy these days to find a contractor who does what they say they are going to do... and stand behind it. Ryan and his team at Mixed Property Solutions installed a roof for me back in March on a townhouse I had purchased in Western Branch, the results we terrific! They showed up early and professionally knocked the job out in no time. I found one item that I asked Ryan to follow up on and he did immediately! This is a customer focused company. Stay local and choose Mixed Property Solutions - I highly recommend them!"

"Everything started very good. I received a call the same day to schedule the initial appointment. Matt the salesman was on time and very professional. I had to wait two weeks for the installation, that was not a problem. I was contacted about 2-3 days before the scheduled installation date and I was told that they overbooked some jobs and needed to move the installation one day. I had no problem with that. I was scheduled for 3 days in a row to complete the job. The crew showed up in time and completed the first part of the job, a second crew and the remaining part. That's when the problems started. I sat in my house for the next two days waiting for someone to show up to complete the work. I received a call at the end of the second day to let me know that I was scheduled for the next day, at this time I was not able to accommodate that request because I had family coming on that day for one day (Friday). Then I was told that I would receive a call on Friday to schedule another day to complete the work. I received a call 4 days later to tell me that my work will be completed a month later because they were booked up. On top of that, they told me that someone had tried to contact me several times and couldn't reach me. That was a lie, no one called me. At this time, I decided to canceled the remaining work , I was not going to wait another month to complete my work for their lack of communication and follow up. Then I received an email trying to schedule my work for the next Saturday, they were making an exception to help me. Really? Why that option was not available before, specially when I have been very flexible with them. I decided to cancel the remaining work anyway. The quality of work is good, Matt was great,but the admin office really needs to follow up when they suppose to. Don't make promises that you can't keep and don't lie trying to cover your lack of planning and communication. That's why I'm given them a B on my review."

"I located Gwin's here on Angie's List and contacted them for a price quote. They returned a quick estimate via email and asked me to contact them for a more detailed quote. I requested a detailed quote via email and did not hear back from them within a week, so I called. They explained that a quote was emailed but may have been lost in transmission. However, after speaking with them, I received a detailed quote that day. Their quote was very reasonable and decided to have them install the gutters. They were able to schedule me the following week and arrived on time. They walked around the house with me and explained how the gutters will be installed and recommended the best locations for the downspouts. They were very professional, installed the gutters quickly, and cleaned up after the job was completed. I waited to post until after the first downpour so I could see how the gutters work, and they are great. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

Update after a year: I have a couple of issues with the seams leaking and called Gwin's and left a voicemail. He called back and left me a voicemail stating he is on vacation and will follow up when he returns. I didn't receive a callback, so I called again after a few weeks and left another voicemail. It has been over a month since my last voicemail and I still haven't heard back. They do a great job installing the gutters, but not such a great job backing up their product.  For this reason, I changed the quality rating to a "C" from an "A"."
