"Everything went great. My water heater broke on Friday night. I put out a few messages for plumbers on Angie's List, and Shimon got back to me right away. I heard back from some other plumbers as well, but Shimon was able to do it the soonest and at the best price. Couldn't ask for more. He arrived at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning and replaced the water heater, hauling the old one away. Very personable and professional. Highly recommend! I will use again when I need any plumbing services."

He was very responsive via email as we worked to schedule a time for his crew to come do the work, which was mainly water tank and heating system maintenance. Brian brought Jim promptly and explained the work. They then pointed out a couple of things that they recommended replacing, one they just included in the original cost estimate and another they added on due to additional parts being purchased. "They were extremely responsive and professional. Someone was dispatched to my home within 24 hours. He accurately diagnosed the problem - that the condensate pump had failed and needed to be replaced. He offered to replace it immediately because he had the part on his truck. The price quote ranged from $1350-$2100 depending on length of warranty I preferred. This seemed extremely high because I had the part replaced once before 3-4 years ago by another company for approx $400. I mentioned that to the installer; he indicated that the price was the price and he was sorry he couldn’t lower it. I found the identical pump online for prices ranging from $35-$75! It looked like an easy swap, so instead of paying Rodenhiser, I ordered the part from Amazon, received it the next day. I have zero experience or training and was able to swap it and fix the problem in literally 10 minutes. I understand that service companies need to charge for labor and mark up parts costs, but a repair I could do in 10 mins for under $50 should not have carried a $1350+ price tag! This was very disappointing, and I will not use them again."
