"Was searching for a Solatube dealer to repair or replace a defective dimmer switch and a "cloudy" prism that had been installed by a dealer that was no longer in business. Found Amazing Skylights booth at the Home Show at Dulles Town Center last March 2015.  The representative at the booth recommended I contact Richard Lindsay, the president of Amazing Skylights for response to my questions.  After speaking with him on the phone, I drove to his place of business with the prism and defective switch.  Wasn't sure what to expect, "showroom" fabrication facility or office.  Amazing Skylights operates out of a small bungalow in a light industrial area.  They have an office and parts storage there.  Mr. Lindsay was not there when I arrived but Mike, his able installer was there.  Mike offered me coffee or water while he examined the prism.  He disassembled it and cleaned it thoroughly while demonstrating how to do it at home if needed in the future. Rich, Mr. Lindsay, arrived and searched his web source for the dimmer switch and found he had one in stock.  The switch cost $60.00.  They did not take credit cards and I only had $40.00 with me.  "No problem. Send me the balance when you get home", Mr. Lindsay said.  Although, I can't comment on their actual installation of Solatubes or other skylights, I would definitely consult them for such work in the future based on their helpful courteous attitude and trust which they extended to me.

"From Hunter Taylor, the Sales Consultant to customer service and the team that did the actual new roof all were great. They took the anxiety of have a new roof put on my townehouse at ease. The crew was on time and had enough workers to complete the work in one day and kept me aware of any extra needed work to do. They cleaned up the whole area so no nails were left behind and the pricing was exactly what I planned for. N. Ryan"

"I had a small job. Great communication. They replaced 16LF of gutter, replaced rotten wood behind the gutter, and added a termination bar to a flashing condition. They gave me a price and were able to mobilize and do the work within a week of me agreeing on the price. I would use them again."

"These guys are the best! They seriously care about their customers and really strive to make sure they deliver a great product. They were on time, quick, and clean. My new roof looks fantastic, and we are really glad we went with this local company. Buying a roof is not a "fun" expense, but I really feel like we got our money's worth: a quality new roof in 1 day, and then new trim capping the next day. They even installed new bathroom exhaust vents and HVAC exhausts. Our house looks brand new. You might get a cheaper rate elsewhere, but these guys do not skimp on quality of product, 50-year warranty, or craftsmanship. They even come back to inspect and follow up to make sure we are completely happy with the services provided! Talk about great customer service! The whole experience was so easy. The salesman/inspector was not pushy, and provided a very reasonable quote for what we needed. They also replaced all our rotted wood in the roof/trim."

"I hired JW Home Improvement to remove wood filler and a microwave above my electric stove, and replace it with a pre-made cabinet and new range hood. Denis, the JW Technician who was sent to my home to conduct the work, was very professional, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Due to an unknown pre-existing issue that necessitated cutting into the dry wall in the bulk-head (above my stove), the job ended up taking approximately 3 hours longer than what was originally projected. That being said, Denis devised a successful solution to deal with the unexpected snag, repaired the drywall and expertly painted the entire wall. I am issuing a rating of five out of five stars for his performance."

"I chose St. Joseph's Roofing because of all the 5 star reviews I read and their price for my roof replacement. The were responsive to all of my questions and the actual demolition and installation was done in less than a day. So far I have not found any debris in my yard and their follow-up inspection was reassuring. I would highly recommend St. Joseph Roofing."

"I thought the work needed was way to expensive compared to other estimates I received who were willing to do the same thing with one exception (adding a closet door).  Even if that was not a factor, I would have thought they were way to expensive for me. My bathroom is very small.  I had a friend of mines have her bathroom done and it was very upscale with all the trimmings.  Her bathroom is twice the size of mines and it cost her only $10,000 to get it done.  I don't want fancy or upscale (lack of better term) just nice.  So I thought the price was a bit much.   I think they are a reputable company, just not for me.  Overall, the absolute deciding factor was how many "questions" were asked that I thought were to personal (where do I work, what do I do, etc).  I intensely dislike this!  Even if the price was great, I would have said, "no" because of that alone!  He probably meant no harm, but due to the time we live in, it is a little spooky when people ask you questions such as these that you don't really know.  It's not that I can't afford to pay the estimated price, I just choose not to.  I want to have both bathrooms done at some point,  but not at $24,000 (estimate).  My bathrooms are small.  If they were larger I could understand.  But they are small.  Again, I do feel this is a reputable company, but I just didn't want to pay that price for a small bathroom nor do I like personal questions from people I don't really know."

"Fantastic! Everything was done quickly, expertly, and professionally. All trash was cleaned up afterward, and the new roof is both beautiful and durable. The price was also fantastic!"

"I contacted Elevated Contracting to replace my worn out gutters. Their project manager was great and the crew was awesome. Highly Recommend!"
