"I contacted Home Advisors on 17 June 2020 requesting the name of a trusted roofing contractor that could provide us with a free estimate for a roof repair or a roof replacement. They provided United Roofing Corporation. Nathan Statz, from United Roofing Corporation, called us and arranged a convenient time to inspect our situation. Prior to Nathan arriving on site I had compiled a list of four or five areas that I considered most needed his specific inspection and indicated those to Nathan. Nathan said he would send me a contract for both a repair or a roof replacement. We opted for a repair of the four areas specified and he would have us placed on their schedule. Over the next few days, we changed our minds and decided rather than the repair of the roof we decided to select the roof replacement. I sent Nathan an email asking if it would be possible to cancel the repair and select the contract for the roof replacement. His company indicated to us they were willing to accept a contract modification without any legal ramifications. A date of 21 July 2020 was selected as the start date and to be completed within one or two days. On 21 July 2020 at 0620L (AM), their crew arrived and rang my doorbell asking if they were at the correct address that needed a roof replacement. Within ten minutes they were on our roof removing the existing roof shingles. After just over two hours they had revealed all of the roof decking and identified the water damaged, broken and split 1â x 6â boards that needed to be replaced. I was invited to climb-up and view what they were starting to replace. There were four to seven areas that probably took another hour or just over to complete the wood replacement. They cleaned the roof and started placing new paper and new shingles. The crew cleaned up around the house and removed any nails and old shingles that had fallen from the house because of their working. The replacement went smooth and I was satisfied with the completed job. I would recommend United Roofing Corporation to anyone that would require their professional services. "My townhouse is over 25 years old and still had the original builder roof. I started thinking about replacing it since a few of my neighbors had their roofs replaced mainly due to a recent storm that blew shingles off their homes. Being a super busy homeowner, I haven't had the time to even think of it so I put it on the back burner until... Michael Anthony arrived at my house to talk to me about replacing my old worn out roof. Our discussion detailed HCR ‘s roof replacement system - an education for me since all I thought was the old shingles were taken off the roof and new ones stapled on. Let me tell you roof replacement with HCR is not like that at all. Michael explained each step of the system to me. First, the old shingles are scraped off the roof. Then a 2mm barrier shield Is layed over the plywood sub roof to keep out moisture, and then the shingles are nailed on - three nails per shingle. This, he told me, would anchor the shingles so that in case of high winds they would not blow off. Did I tell you about the warranty? My new roof will not give me any worries for at least 25 years and it is transferable to a new owner of my townhouse should I ever decide to sell it. Oh yeah, if a shingle does blow off, they will come and repair it. Peace of mind! The HCR crew was very professional. They started scraping the old shingles off just as soon as they arrived at my job site. After all the old worn out shingles were off the roof, the fun began. It was amazing to me to watch a crew member swiftly carry each package of shingles up a very tall ladder to the roof. By the time all the packages were on top of the roof, the barrier shield was laid out. Then each single shingle was laid down and nailed. After all shingles were in place, the crew cleaned up the debris in my yard and in my neighbors’ yards. My new roof looks amazing! Michael contacted me on the day of the install to check on the progress. All went well! I now have a very beautiful roof that I don't have to worry about replacing for at least 25 years. When you see an HCR representative in your neighborhood, talk to him. You will be glad you did!!"

"I highly recommend W.T Anderson for any roofing need for the follow reason. The five member roofing crew arrived early Monday morning and began to go to work. The on-sight supervisor introduced herself and provided me with her phone in case I had questions or concerns. Every team member was assigned a task and worked efficiently with little wasted effort. The team remained focus on the job at hand even when the sight supervisor was not present (which was not often or long). The company’s owner made sure to visit the sight throughout the day. His enthusiasm and positivity for the job was mirrored by all at the job sight. The job consisted of removal of 2 layers of shingles, remove and re-install 3 Solar Tubes, replace 3 vent covers (2 bathroom and 1 kitchen), installed 3 Easy Sleeve pipe flashing (a product I recommend, made by a local Virginia company), replacing of 11 sheets of roof sheathing (a lot of water damage during the 30+ years since the first layer was installed, not surprised), installed Weather Watch leak barrier along eaves, rakes, around chimney and all roof penetrations, install underlayment and finally the shingles. I was expecting the job to take 2 days (especially after the water damage was found). However, the job was done in one day and the dumpster was picked up the next day. I cannot express how impressed I am with the thoroughness with which the clean-up was done. I climbed on the roof and inspected the work I was quite pleased with the overall job. I did find one discrepancy (one of the Easy Sleeves was installed incorrectly). Once the company was informed the owner can out the next day to see for himself. He tried to fix it right then and there, but was unable to. The next day the crew was out to remove and replace (with new material) the Easy Sleeve. I am absolutely happy that I chose W.T Anderson for my roofing project. Although their quote was not the lowest, the combination of good reviews and the positive impression I had after the owner’s visit to formulate a bid was central in the selection (I had four roofing quotes). They were very responsive during the whole process (bid, work and follow up) and I would highly recommend them."

"I'm pleased with the finished project, however there were some bumps along the way. Workers initially broke the incorrect window; they fixed the problem but my stress levels skyrocketed momentarily. They also initially installed an incorrect window; it was supposed to be etched glass but was clear. They did replace this promptly. Not to dissuade anyone, the finished product is good. The process was simply less than ideal. The value for our windows was very good. We also got a quote for a roof replacement and it was approximately double what we have quoted from others. Almost seems as if they charged extra once we had used them once, especially considering the year before we had gotten a quote from them for half the price as well. Anyone looking to use HCR should bare in mind their sales teams has a lot of leeway with pricing which means their products are on a large markup."
