"We used AJT for the purpose of sand delivery for our pool. I found them originally through a Facebook post on Marketplace & they where prompt to reply and answer my questions in a timely manner. AJT was the cheapest by far for 4-Tons of sand. We were on a crunch time to get the liner installed and were able to complete the job successfully without issue. I dealt with Caitlin and Albert r/t the delivery & calculating the amount of sand required for this project & was grateful for their support and generosity. I had minimal excess oat project. I will be utilizing their company again as I require supplies for mulch & screened loam for a large landscaping project this fall. "

"Valter and his crew were prompt, courteous, respectful, and hard-working. Communication was great, and Valter consulted me at every step. His crew flawlessly re-pointed our foundation in several spots, built a new border around our front garden, and laid in a paved walkway. The results were stunning. Valter was direct, honest, and fair in his estimate and pricing. We will definitely work with him again!"

"Matt was easy to work with, great personality and his work ethic and skills were fantastic. He built my ideas for a backyard garden. He removed and installed stockade fence in one day. He’s now making new front steps. Everything looks great. Getting lots of compliments on his work. I’m giving out his information to friends and neighbors who love his work. Highly recommend Matt "

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in North-Attleboro, MA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
