Throughout the project, Jim would stop by to check on the progress and he would always respond promptly if a question arose. Janice was also extremely helpful throughout the whole project, whether it was to stop by to take measurements or to field a number of inquiries by phone. They were both very pleasant and accommodating. The work crew was excellent and put in long days to complete the project in a little over a weeks time. "You may be reading this because hiring contractors to do work you know little about is a bit anxiety provoking and can result in some unpleasant results. Even though I have a background in engineering and construction, I moved forward with vinyl siding my home with some trepidation. My wife and I did some research and through a friend’s recommendation hired RJ Scalzi and Sons. The work scope included replacing fascia boards, rake boards, gutters, shutters and downspouts and installing vinyl siding. Jason and Matt showed up on time, and it very soon became clear that they were extremely skilled at their craft. Through every step of the project, they took measures to minimize inconveniencing us, including location of work vehicles and work benches, preventing damage to lawn, shrubs and trees, securing artwork on walls and shelves to prevent damage, communicating updates on schedule and timelines and maintaining a neat work area. Not only did it appear that Jason and Matt were talented, but it was also obvious that they have honed an extremely efficient team that executes work safely, quickly and with the highest quality. Two minor unexpected and out of work scope problems arose during the project that instead of dropping on my lap, as they rightfully could have, they took action and got resolved. Over the days Jason and Matt worked on our home, we were constantly impressed with the quality and efficiency of their work. A major plus was the professional, considerate and friendly demeanor both young men exhibited throughout the project. We enjoyed listening to their good natured banter, that didn’t slow them down one bit, and interacting with them. The completed project looks great and met all of our requirements, a neighbor even stopped by and asked for an estimate. Jason and Matt’s ability to combine high quality efficient work with very winning personal ways made the vinyl siding of our house a great experience and this may sound strange, but it was fun to have them around. "Overall I am pleased with the work done by Power. The price was a little expensive, but less than other window replacement companies. Power stands by its product with a lifetime warranty, so if a screen of glass breaks, or window leaks, they will fix or replace, which is nice. The day after the installation it rained and water was seeping through the wood on the base of the new bay window, they came back a couple days later and opened everything back up to find the issue and resealed everything. We live on the ocean, so our windows take a bounding with Nor'easters, so having this type of service is a must have."

"Very nice people who replaced trim on our house which has hardy board siding. They replaced the trim well but 3 stars because they did a poor caulking job. They returned to correct things, and it looks better but not how it should look. They're probably good at many other jobs."

"I was so pleased having hired J&J Home Improvement to put siding on my house. They were all so professional and did an amazing job. I loved that they were so meticulous about everything they did and it shows. You could tell they take pride in their work. They all have years of experience and you could tell it immediately. They knew what they had to do and did it without hesitation. First time ever that I've hired people who did not spend time on their cellphones! They gave me a date as to when they would be coming and ended up coming earlier, which I was thrilled about. Joe, the owner, gave me a couple of suggestions as to what to do with my sunroom, which I love. I never would have come up with those ideas. My neighbors came over to see what they did and one of them said he will hire J&J when he is ready to have his house done. I felt bad for the 4 guys because it was so hot out there for them, but they never complained. I had gotten several estimates and they ended up being the cheapest. I am having them come back for another job I need done. When we hire people to work for us we usually don't know what we're getting, but DO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE J&J â ¦. they are the best! Believe me, you will not be disappointed!!! Oops, I can't forget Jennifer in the office â ¦ she was great and kept me informed on everything (contract, dates, times). A great company!!!!!"

"(1) CP Construction and Carpentry did a fantastic job of leveling my deck for a reasonable price and completed the job in just one day. The deck was sagging from the Ice/snow storm back in 2015 from too much snow sitting on it. I would definitely hire them again."
