"Desert Gardens was one of several companies we contacted for estimates about doing a major cut-back of our new yard, which had previously been kept in a more overgrown state than we like. They were the most responsive and professional of all the companies contacted. The estimate was for $200 and it came in slightly higher because they needed to repair a drip valve and we did not have the part. We had the choice of them hauling the trash for an additional $65 or just leaving it bundled for our regular trash pickup. We chose the latter, though it turned out to be more trash than our company would collect on a single day and had to spread it out over a couple of pickups. DG employees worked for a little over 2 hours to cut back two desert palms, a mesquite tree, several fruit trees and about two dozen other shrubs and plans. They asked questions about what we wanted, explained why they did what they did when questions (for example, they left one of the fruit trees bigger than I wanted so that it doesn't stunt the growth but told me when it would be best to trim it further), and left everything in great shape. Part of our yard was nearly inaccessible, and now it can easily been seen and enjoyed."
