"The company did an excellent job: they showed up on time (for both the initial estimate and to perform the work), were professional and courteous and cleaned up upon completing the project. I am already a repeat customer and would certainly use this company again in the future."

Comprehensive Services is a family owned and operated home repair and improvement company that has been serving Central Indiana since 1996. We offer a variety handyman, repair and home improvement services ranging from a simple paint job to an entire bathroom remodel. \n\nOur business philosophy is to properly assess each job to ensure a plan of action is agreed upon and the necessary time is taken to do the work correctly and to the customer's satisfaction. We believe that if you don't have time to do it right the first time, you won't have time to do it over. We have great attention to detail and a wide variety of experience and expertise in home repair and improvement. We believe in treating all individuals with respect and in a professional manner while providing personal and individualized service. We believe our handyman service is superior as we seem to have a knack for assessing and completing repairs others are unable, unsure, or unwilling to do. We find some home repairs require more time and tedious tasking than other handyman or repair companies are willing to commit to. We pride ourselves on the quality of our home repair and improvement work and will ensure the work area is as clean or cleaner than when we started. \n\nWe serve Marion, Southern Hamilton, Northern Johnson, and most of Hancock counties. Comprehensive Services received the Angie's List Super Service Award in 2000 through 2008 as well as 2010; fewer than 5% of all service providers on Angie's List qualify for this award!

"Our Inspector was not thorough at all. He turned the water on for the bathroom sink and then the shower in the front bathroom and when he did the water in the sink almost stopped flowing and he didn't notice that so I pointed it out to him and from that point he should have proceeded to ck the water flow in the rest of the house to see if the whole house had low flow issues but he didn't. The Inspector also noticed a flexible gas line off of the water heater that ran through the floor into the crawl and to a wall heater just on the other side of the wall and said it didn't have a ground on it but he would look at it in the crawl space but he didn't go over to where the flex gas line was. When he proceeded to the crawl space he only checked a very small part of the crawl with the largest areas of the crawl only accessible or visible through passthrough openings due to solid block support walls and this is a very easily accessible crawl space. I pointed out a wet looking spot on one of the block walls which was on the other end of the crawl from where we were and he wouldn't check into that and told me to ask the homeowner if they had and leakage issues in the crawl space so we had to get another crawl space inspection from another company 2 days later, and I'm sure the home owner would have said oh yeah you are gonna be screwed when it rains. No appliances were checked for proper operation. During the attic inspection he didn't see a switch for the attic light so he used his flashlight, I looked at the light to see why he didn't turn it on and I followed the cord up and over the door where it was plugged into a droplight that had no bulb or guard on it exposing a shock hazard and it was ran over to an outlet and plugged in so I pointed that out to him also because he didn't see it. The Inspector never found the Master bedroom and bath (unbelievable) that is in the back corner of the house down a hallway so none of that even got looked at. The $75 charge for a Septic Inspection consisted of turning on the kitchen sink faucet, putting the dye in the drain and immediately proceeded to make 1 pass around the property which he went well into the neighbors back yard and I had to tell him about that. This Inspector was extremely absent minded on this day. I did follow J.M. through this whole inspection process."
