"Nice kid, showed up on time and seemed to know what he was doing but quality of work not great. Cut a $300 corner board 3/8 short, leaving a gap at the top and short on the bottom. Used what looked like a pair of left handed scissors to cut the aluminum and did not follow instructions on part of the job. Refused to split a $300 difference because he did not add correctly on his quote, so in principle, $150 cost him a $4k siding job and other work which looked desperate. The deal he gave me on the work was hard to justify when his quote amount was the same as a 2nd estimate and ultimately paid him an hourly rate most doctors and lawyers would be proud of."
