"They were excellent. They showed up on time, performed the work courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Not only did they strip the roof, they also replaced the plywood before re-shingling. They flashed where necessary and installed the drip edge. Most surprising to me was the quality of the cleanup. I am yet to find a single nail left behind despite the snow we had on the ground. I liked them so much that I will be bringing them back in the spring to insulate and install vinyl siding!"

They were prompt in their response to my initial inquiry regarding an estimate. The price was reasonable and I elected to have ice and water shield put on the entire roof rather than just the first two rows which was a little extra money . Justin Caron - the project leader, was very precise and extremely helpful even suggesting what color shingles he thought would look nice on my house. I had no idea what color I should go with, I just knew I didn't want black. I chose "slate" as Justin suggested. All the stock was delivered the day before and One crew member showed up at the house at 7:15 a.m. and the rest were here by 7:20 a.m and began immediatley started stripping all the old shingles off at 7:35 am. There was a crew of about 7 and while some were stripping the exisiting shingles, others on the ground was doing cleanup. These guys really knew what the were doing and how to do it. They all were very friendly and respectful. They all worked very well together as if they had been together for years. Justin said they would have the job done in one day and it was completed in one day. When they were finished I couldn't believe how beautiful the roof was and I was so happy I took Justin's color rcommendation. After they all cleared out, my yard, my porches and deck were spotless (like no one had been there). I got into my car and drove by my house three (3) times just admiring my new roof and appreciating the pleasant memories of the job I was dreading most. No dread, no apprehension, it all was a pure pleasure and great satisfaction. No more worries about shingles blowing off my roof or potential leaks in rain, snow or heavy winds. We already had torrential rains and high winds since the new roof and NO PROBLEMS. "It went absolutely flawless they showed up @ 7:15 and worked til completed at 7 at night they kept at all day and cleaned up before they left. They came up 2 bundles of shingles short and and a few caps short but came back they next day and had about an hour of work to finish but roof was weather tight when they left. "It went incredibly well. I woke up one morning to a leak in my roof. I knew the roof was going to need to be replaced at some point, but I was hoping I'd get another year out of it. The roof was in bad shape when I bought the house. I immediately started calling all of the roofing companies I could find on Google. It was early so I was leaving voicemails. Kasey from James and Whitney was the first and only one to get back to me in a timely manner. He was incredibly helpful on the phone, walking me through how to put a tarp over the impacted area. He even swung by later THAT DAY to check and make sure it was installed properly and to assess the roof. I knew it needed to be replaced so we went right into talking about estimates. The estimate was within my budget but the new roof came with a FIFTY-YEAR WARRANTY for parts and labor. You just can't beat that kind of warranty on an asphalt roof. We were scheduled within a week and I had a brand new, perfectly installed roof within a month. Kasey and his team were super respectful during the installation. When the installation had finished, Kasey inspected every inch of my property to pick up any tiny bits of trash and leave our lawn spotless. "Where do I begin? I hired this company to build me a deck off of my kitchen area. It’s so pretty. I spend all of my time out there. They did such an amazing job we had them install new vinyl siding and an asphalt shingle roof for us as well. They were so helpful with the deck design. "Originally, Gavin offered to do the whole roof on the house and shed for $6,500 - but without signing a contract or agreement and without an appointment he showed up at our house on 8/17/24 at 6:00 AM and we were awakened by a man taking shingles off our roof. He said he needed materials and asked for $5,000. His worker had already taken half the roof shingles off of the roof in the back. We were expecting heavy rain for two days, so we had no choice but to pay him the $5,000 to fix the roof. Then later he said he needed $1,500 more for materials to finish the back and we paid him that. When he finished the back he said that he still needed $4,500 to finish the front roof which he received money every time he came to work on the roof. All for a total of $11,000 when originally he said he would do the house and shed roof for $6,500. (See checks below). I came out in my pajamas and told him to stop because we had no more money to spend and we could not pay him anymore. I went out several times and told him that we could pay no more to stop the work. He just shrugged and kept on working after he was told and asked to stop. Later that day he came to the door and asked me for $500 for materials and I told him again that we had no more money to spend. Then, a couple of days ago he texted me and said he would like to come by tomorrow and collect $1,000 for the work done on the shed. We did not ask him to do the shed and told him numerous times that we could pay no more. Quoting a price to do a job and then arbitrarily adding on again and again to where the cost is more than doubled the original price is not a reputable way to do business. Gavin said that he would give me a very low price because I am a veteran and 82 years old. Even though I assume he did a good job I feel like this method of doing business is not right."
