"We were a bit hesitant to go with a door to door contractor, because of past bad experiences. Power reps and company are slowing but surely restoring our trust in the home repair industry. Joe, the rep who came to for the estimate was so patient and knowledgable. We appreciated his honesty and willingness to earn our business. Prior to the install we had a couple reps come make sure measurements and job could be completed as promised. During today's install, we received a visit from their quality assurance manager, Jason, who walked around the job, helped us sign up for warranty, communicated progress and timelines. "In 2013 I had my roof, soffit and gutters replaced by RidgeTop. That experience was very good, but that's what I expected from a quality contractor. In 2017, we had a windstorm and a section of fascia come loose. I reached out to the local rep and he had it replaced as a warranty repair. In April 2020, more wind and another section of fascia needed attention. I went to contact Ridge Top and found that they had closed their local office (St. Louis). Frankly, at this point I expected to be on my own. I went ahead and reached out to their main office in Madison, WI with my situation and a photo of the problem. I have to say the service I've received was spectacular. I got a prompt email reply and was told I would hear from their Service Department. The next day, Beau Crawley reached out and confirmed they would get the problem corrected. In spite of the fact that they no longer have personnel in my region, they made arrangements with one of the established, local roofing companies to replace the fascia. They came by, confirmed the color and replaced the section necessary so it looked consistent. Ridge Top earned this review by standing behind their product and installation. Every business is going to have problems. The way they responded to mine really set them apart and has been greatly appreciated."

"I contacted RK Roofing after getting a bunch of quotes that were not bad (and one that was terrible--looking at you, Feldco). The owner Jerry promptly contacted me and was able to get the quote done very quickly. The quote was incredibly reasonable, especially for a company that had such a great Angie's List rating. When they came to do the work, the crew leader Greg was a really nice guy and did a great job of communicating any extra work that needed to be done. They also took care of some various things that were wrong, like a vent that went to nowhere, a broken fan, and added some more mushroom vents for not much extra (and there will always be extra in any roofing project). One other small thing that I appreciated was that, at the end of the work, they just left and sent me an invoice in the mail; there wasn't any pressure to give them a check right then and there. Given that roofing is usually a really expensive repair and you're often pulling together money from different sources, I just thought that was an extra nice touch. Highly recommend."
