"We were very pleased with the service. D&D responded very promptly to our initial call for service and managed to obtain a new part in a matter of a couple of days. This allowed us to have a fully functioning kitchen again in a timely fashion which was important since we had guests coming to stay. Dan, who provided the service, was very pleasant to deal with and the service charge, most of which was the cost of the new part, was very reasonable. "They say some jobs are too big for the do-it-youselfer, mounting a tv in a recessed alcove above a fireplace may have been one too big for me. Unbelievably, I hit an electric wire inside a wall stud, knocking out power to my living room. I found BRL Solutions on Angies list about 11PM Friday night and emailed them and asked them if they could call me Saturday morning. They did, and Brian showed up as promised at 11:30AM. He quoted me an hourly rate and estimate of completion to fix the wire in the wall and move the outlet to a new location. He repaired the electrical issue in about an 90 minutes. He also told me that he does a lot of TV wall mounts and could finish the installation for me (without any pressure by the way). I didn't think twice about it. I have installed two other wall mounts in my house but this one was far from easy. He had extra bolts for fitting the mount on my TV which was an odd shape. It took him over an hour to install the mount, and hang the tv. And it was NOT an easy or strait forward job. I am pretty sure it would have taken me a lot longer. Brian is small business owner that takes a lot of pride and professionalism in his work. On Friday night, I was left literally in the dark on my project and very annoyed. I needed help and what I got was exactly what I was looking for. I fully attend to use Brian for any future electrical works and would highly recommend him."

"I initially wrote a bad review because Mr. Lanza did not show-up for our scheduled estimate. He called the next morning with apologies. He then offered to install our ceiling fan at no cost to us. He came, as scheduled the next day. The job was done well in one hour. He refused to take any money. Given his professiona;l responce to make amends I would definately hire him again."

"I was in need of some electrical wiring and additions of outlets in my home. Kenny and Jerry came over and were very upfront with the costs and what needed to be done. I had another quote, but their expertise was something that put them apart from others. Not only are they licensed and fully insured, but also honest. They may not be the cheapest, but you pay for what you get. If you are on the fence about hiring them, or a little hesitant due to costs, I would tell you to go with them. When they were done with my initial job, they noticed that a previous company had left a fire hazard in my home, and did a very poor job covering up live wires in my attic. I would never have known if not for them being honest and checking. They were not trying to "sell me" and say a fire would start. Quite the opposite, Kenny said probably nothing will happen, but if I want to fix it, they can do it. I went ahead with them fixing certain things, and everything now works perfectly. Jerry and his crew were a pleasure to have in my home. They were efficient, friendly, and experts at their craft. I will hire them again immediately if I ever need anything else. They also cleaned up wonderfully, and were up front about everything they were doing. Thank you Kenny and Jerry, and the whole team for the work you did."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"service provider sent by American Home Shield was excellent. The only issue I have with home warranty services is that they do not send their repair companies out on the week-end, even in an emergency. The customer service personnel is less than enthusiastic or helpful."
