"We hired EA Masonry a year ago to rebuild the 12 step stone stairway with a landing from the driveway to the sidewalk around the house and the three steps to the front door. The workmanship was excellent so we accepted their bid to reconstruct the patio behind the house and build a walkway in the side garden. Once again the workmanship was excellent, from the removal of the old patio to the establishment of a superior base and the design and meticulous installation of a three-piece paver pattern. What separates the work of these masons is the attention to detail and the extra touches they bring to the job, not to mention their dependability and professionalism. They completed the job in a week. Beyond all that the are nice guys, my wife insists they’re artists."

He install two large granite steps that most hardscape contractors would not be able to work with and tied everything into the existing foundation and retaining walls perfectly. "The work went reasonably well. The workers were unable to drill as far down as they intended, due to a rock ledge under the house, and had to cut off the barrel of the new pump to make it even with the floor. I have no idea if this is common practice or just a convenience to the company. I have not heard the new pump come on yet so cannot say if it works. Cleanup was good. The crew was very friendly and polite and were the only company that bothered to respond at all. Given how hard it seems to be to find responsive contractors, I was grateful. One note--as they were leaving, the owner commented that the water on the floor in my basement was probably due to leaking windows, not a bad sump pump. Not really the right thing to say after you've charged $1700 to replace the pump."

Even with me having some work travel in between when we spoke and when the work was performed and a couple communication hiccups, Lou and Andrew were friendly and professional and committed to moving forward to get the job done. "Mr. Feliciano did a great job and is a true craftsman. He was the first to respond and gave us a fair estimate and said he could fit us in the next week, much sooner than we had hoped. It is a 20 ft. walkway. Carlos had some great ideas and details that we added to what I had drawn up. Carlos and another fellow were punctual arriving at 7am and were completely done in the afternoon. "Jason came in and removed about 100 sq ft of cement that had cracks throughout it. He also pulled up and stacked our flagstone. In our basement he patched and repointed the brick, even out the floor slab, and installed three lally columns with footings. He came to see the place on a Monday and the next week he did all of the work with a partner in three days. His price was half of what others were asking for."
