"They were excellent both in the loading of the truck and the unloading at our townhouse. It was a very challenging move because our townhouse has 3 floors. We where concerned that our large bedroom furniture would not be able to get moved to the 3rd floor. But the movers kept trying and working at it and after a few attempts they were successfully. They worked hard at it and they did a great job. The 3 floors were no problem and the movers handled everything very well. They worked very hard and no complaints and were always courtesy and professional.  I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a quality move, they were the best.

"I called several large and small moving companies before I found Hire a Helper and the others were are either unwilling to help me or just plain didn t call me back. We had a large kiln (about900lbs) that had been delivered to us but not put place. I found Hire a Helper and within a week I had a crew out to my house with a pallet jack, ready and able to pull the kiln out my my carport and into my shed. The crew was friendly and professional, they even removed the bracing 2x4s packing the kiln for us The price was a bit higher than expected but considering the speed & efficiency with which they did the job - and the fact that I had no other way to move this behemoth- it was well worth it!"

"I was immediately impressed with Meathead Movers from my first phone call to their company about 4 weeks before my actual moving date. I had the great fortune of working with Ali over the phone and she was always extremely friendly, knowledgable and encouraging. Moving can be a confusing experience and very rarely ever fun, but Ali informed me of every level of service that Meathead offered and never tried to "up-sell" me into something that I did not need. I started off with a contract that included a truck and three movers, but after moving a lot of the smaller items myself in the days leading up to my move, I was able to conveniently pare down my contract (thanks to Ali again) to just having two movers help me move my larger items via a U-Haul that I rented. I was also fortunate that those two movers happened to be Steven and Reno. They showed up promptly and immediately came up with a game plan. After going over a small bit of paperwork, they even offered me a chair to sit back and relax while they did all the hard work! As advertised, they ran back and forth from the truck as they loaded it and did the same when unloading at my new residence. They were careful, professional and worked extremely hard. From beginning to end, Ali, Steven and Reno made what could have been a stressful experience into a pleasant one. "I was under pressure to empty my father's apartment after he experienced some health issues and ended up in the hospital. When we found out that he had cancer, we decided that he should move in with my husband and myself. About that same time my husband also ended up in the hospital for a week. I also have a home office as a tax preparer, so I was already overwhelmed with work. I had to empty a room in my house for his use and also move most of his belongings into a storage unit. The guys did a fantastic job. They picked up the furniture from Dads apartment, then went over to my house and dropped off the items he would need in his bedroom and some other large items that we were going to keep, they swapped out the couch and loveseat from my house with the sofa and recliner that came from my Dad's. Loaded that stuff into the truck, then hauled it all to a storage unit for us. They were very efficient about the way they worked, they seemed to enjoy their work and that actually helped to lighten the stress I was having. And, they accomplished all of this within the 4 hour minimum time allotted. If I ever need to hire movers again, it will most definitely be Grace Moving Company, LLC"
